MSI now makes business laptops with new Summit, Prestige, and Modern series

Today, MSI announced that it's entering the business laptop market. In fact, the company has three laptop lineups now called Summit, Prestige, and Modern, all of which fall under the Business & Productivity umbrella. Modern and Prestige are existing product lineups, but the Summit business lineup is all new.

Yes, MSI is comparing it to the summit of a mountain, as it explained in its blog post and is shown in the image. As with all business laptops, these are meant to be secure, so you'll get things like TPM 2.0, an IR camera for facial recognition, a fingerprint sensor, and more.

In the Summit range, you'll find the E14, E14, B15, and B14. The E-series is a bit more high-end, offering 4K UHD options for the display and dual Thunderbolt 4 ports. It also comes with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics. The B-series offers an FHD display, one Thunderbolt 4 port, and Iris Xe graphics.

The new Prestige, Modern, and Summit laptops are all using Intel's new 11th-generation processors, which were announced yesterday. They include the firm's Iris Xe graphics, along with various other improvements like support for PCIe 4.0 and Thunderbolt 4. The new Prestige 14 is designed for Intel's Evo certification program, although MSI didn't say that about its other laptops that it's announcing.

The new Prestige and Modern laptops come in colors like Urban Silver, Pure White, Carbon Gray, Rose Pink, Blue Stone, and Beige Mousse.

There are three Prestige laptops being announced, the 15, 14, and 14 Evo. The 15 and 14 are beefier, with UHD screen options and up to an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 Ti, while the 14 Evo has integrated Iris Xe graphics and an FHD screen. And finally, the Modern 14 and 15 come with Nvidia's GeForce MX450 graphics and FHD screens.
