"Sunset Overdrive" will get a large downloadable content addition on Dec. 23, adding an entirely new area to the game as well as new weapons, moves and challenges.
As revealed in this week's Sunset TV episode, seen above, "The Mystery of the Mooil Rig" will bring an oil rig to the game's universe in addition to new water-based moves to easier traverse its surrounding environment. Guest host Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb says there will be "more missions, quests and challenges to tackle." New weapons, traps, amps and multiplayer chaos squad objectives will also be part of the DLC, with more information set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The DLC is included as part of the game's $20 season pass, though gamers will also be able purchase it individually for $10.
