Nintendo shows off first trailer for No More Heroes III at The Game Awards 2019

No More Heroes III, the first game in the franchise in almost ten years, has received its first trailer during this year's edition of The Game Awards. The game is coming next year.

Nintendo formally announced No More Heroes III during this year's E3, but the game got little more than a teaser featuring the main character Travis Touchdown. Today, during this year's edition of The Game Awards, Nintendo showed off the first proper trailer for the game.

The trailer goes over the plot of the game, telling the story of an alien who used to be friends with a human kid, but left the planet twenty years ago. Now, it seems to have made a habit of destroying planets, and it has returned to wreak havoc on Earth with some of its friends. The trailer sees what appears to be the antagonist of the game describing itself as a superhero, prior to being interrupted by Travis Touchdown.

Despite some of the new information, the trailer doesn't show any gameplay, nor does it include a more specific release date. The title is slated to arrive sometime in 2020.
