PlayStation VR launching October 13, 2016

Sony, at its E3 press conference, has announced its virtual reality headset, PlayStation VR (PSVR) will launch October 13, 2016. It is expected to receive 50 games before the year is out, including Star Wars, Final Fantasy XV, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

Sony has previously shared other details about what would we included with the PlayStation VR for that $399, you get: a PSVR cable, an HDMI cable, a USB cable, a pair of headphones with a "complete set of earpieces", an AC power brick and cable, the add-on processor box, and the PSVR headset.

Unfortunately, you need to buy a PlayStation Camera for $60 to even use the device, and you'll have to spend another $50 on Sony's Move motion controllers, which will be required for many of the games that launch for the PSVR.

PSVR pre-order bundles began selling a few months ago for $499; however, they sold out extremely quickly at various retailers. The bundles include the PSVR Core bundle, PS Camera, PS Move controllers, and VR demo disc.
