Samsung's giving away a 128GB memory card, Gear 360, and more with early Galaxy Note8 orders

With previous releases, Samsung has been known to offer some enticing promotional offers that coincide with the release of its handsets. Today, the firm finally took the lid off of its Galaxy Note8 after months of leaks, and also revealed that it would be giving away a couple freebies to those that order the handset early.

Starting on August 24, folks that are interested will be able to place their order and qualify for the promotion that will run until September 24. This go-around, customers will have the option of choosing between a 128GB microSD card plus a wireless charger, or a Gear 360 camera. The details of this promotion are a little different from what was reported last week but overall is still a great deal.

For those in the UK, pre-orders are currently available with the Galaxy Note8 being priced at £869. Those in the US will have to wait until August 24, where T-Mobile will be pricing it at $930, while AT&T and Verizon will have it for $950 and $960 respectively. If you're a previous owner of the Galaxy Note7, be sure to check the pre-order page to get details on how you can get special pricing that could knock up to $425 off the retail price.
