Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment Beta starts Tuesday

The beta of the first micro-expansion to Ironclad's massively successful Sins of a Solar Empire real time strategy game is set to be released tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16, 2008. This is nearly a month after the original release date of November 18, 2008 when the final version of Entrenchment, not a beta, was supposed to be released.

The Entrenchment Beta will be made available to people who have pre-order the final version to be released sometime next year depending on how well the beta goes. In order to install the beta, users will need to have a fully updated version of the base game (version 1.12) and have Stardock's Impulse (https://www.impulsedriven.com" target="_blank"> https://www.impulsedriven.com ) installed as the beta can only be installed through Impulse. The beta will be available in the English language only but it is expected that the final version of the game will be available in many languages.
