Alongside its Office 2016 preview, Microsoft is also launching a test version Skype for Business, a new version of the VOIP communication program aimed at replacing Lync.

Until now, Lync was Microsoft’s primary client for secure business communications, but the company is looking to unify its products and has now launched a preview version of Skype for Business. Originally announced last year, the new program looks similar to the regular consumer version of Skype, and it integrates closely with the Office suite for a complete productivity package.

Right now, interested parties can sign-up for the preview of Skype for Business while a fully-featured, final version will ship sometime in April.
