Ubi Soft has confirmed the release date for Splinter Cell on PS2 as sometime in March. Which is fantastic news for PS2 gamers, as Splinter Cell delivered big time on Xbox.
It's also rumoured that a new level will be included in the PS2 port, a Powerplant level (reportedly, the first Xbox Live downloadable level for Xbox gamers). Whatever the case, Sam is the man of light and shade, the best proponent of stealth gaming to date. Just how well the PS2 will be able to handle the light and shadow elements vital to the game remains to be seen, however.
