Super Lucky's Tale: Gilly Island now available on the Microsoft Store

Super Lucky's Tale was one among the first wave of Xbox One X titles, released along with the console on the November of last year, after its announcement in E3 some months prior.

Hot on its heels comes the game's first DLC, Gilly Island.

Putting our sprightly, (literally) foxy protagonist in a beach party-esque setting, the plot seems to revolve around a sinister popstar with less-than-stellar music to her name. Much like the main game, the added content appears to be very child-friendly, while also having some old-school 3D platformer mechanics to it, with colorful, nicely done visuals, and given how nice the game itself looks, it does require a good mid-range system for you to be able to run it nicely.

As a reminder, the title supports 4K HDR, so if you've got a shiny new TV that supports this spec, you may be in for some extra eye candy. The reviews for it over on the Microsoft Store are largely positive, too.

Gilly's Island can be purchased for $4.99 here, but as it goes with all DLC, you'll need to have the original Super Lucky's Tale installed beforehand in order to play it. Both of these are also available on the Xbox Game Pass service.
