With the first country set to begin switching off FM radio transmissions in January, LG has unveiled the first smartphone to support DAB+ digital radio: the Stylus 2, running Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Norway will be the first country in the world to switch off FM radio in 2017 - but with just 20 months to go until the shutdown begins, 45% of Norwegian homes and 80% of cars are still not DAB-ready.
