The Galaxy S9 is expected to make its debut sometime within the next two months, and Samsung appears to be laying the groundwork with a trademark filing for a term that had been used with the S8.
There are rumors circulating that Samsung could give attendees a glimpse of the next Galaxy S handset at CES 2018. The firm could also be looking to launch a new DeX device with the handsets.
Samsung made a big deal about its DeX Station when it released alongside the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Now, a user has modded the product, creating a DeX laptop dock from a MacBook Pro.
When launching the Galaxy S8 and S8+, Samsung touted the phone's capability to utilize its DeX Station accessory. As it turns out, Microsoft's Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 950 can also utilize it too.
You can now pre-order Samsung's DeX Station, designed for the PC-like desktop experience on its new Galaxy S8 and S8+. It includes a cooling fan, USB-A and Ethernet ports, and a USB-C charging port.
There will probably be very little to be surprised about when Samsung reveals its Galaxy S8 and S8+. Now we are getting more details about the DeX Station that will be released alongside the handsets.
