Over the weekend Microsoft has announced a number of new features coming to cloud customers in Britain. Two of them deal with transfer and processing of big data, and the third with containers.
At its Data Amp online event, the Redmond software giant unveiled an array of announcements regarding SQL Server 2017, Azure Analysis Services, and many more components of its cloud platform.
Special versions of Power BI Pro and HDInsight have been certified for government use and Microsoft is now including these services as part of Azure Government. The two programs focus on big data.
Microsoft has a couple of new features that are rolling out for Azure including support for HDInsight running on Ubuntu and general availability of Azure Machine Learning.
