Johnson Controls' GLAS thermostat, which is currently powered by Microsoft's Cortana voice assistant, will now only work with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Cortana will be removed.
At Microsoft's Partner Showcase at CES, the company showed off the Johnson Controls GLAS, a translucent smart thermostat that's powered by Windows 10 IoT Core, and includes full Cortana support.
Today, Microsoft unveiled the pre-order information on the Johnson Controls GLAS smart thermostat. The Windows 10 IoT device will be available for pre-order in March, for a price of $319.
