It was only a year ago when Telltale Games announced Batman - The Telltale Series. The series garnered fairly good reviews and now the developer is set to offer its latest adventure in Gotham City with Batman: The Enemy Within. While the game will arrive in the next few days, a new trailer for the title has been released, giving those curious a better look.
The first episode of the new five part episodic series, The Enigma will focus on the return on The Riddler. Telltale describes it as:
"In this latest chapter, both Bruce Wayne and Batman will be forced into precarious new roles. The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, but his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadow an even greater crisis. With the arrival of a ruthless federal agent and the return of a still nascent Joker, Batman must navigate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne undertakes a perilous series of deceptions. Which of Batman's new allies will you choose to trust? And how deep into the darkness will you let Bruce descend?"
The latest in the Batman series will arrive on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC starting on August 8. The series will be available sometime in October for iOS, Android, and will also be made available in physical form at retailers in North America for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 3. The retail disc will have the first episode of the series, and the later episodes can be downloaded once they become available.
