A few weeks ago, the Microsoft Store in the UK ran a limited-time promotion on the Band, the company’s health- and fitness-focused wearable device, offering £10 off the regular price of £169.99. That promotion ended on July 22, but Microsoft is now running a special offer with an even larger discount available.
The Microsoft Store is currently offering the Band for £149.99, saving you £20 off the normal price. The discount is available on all three sizes of the Band – small, medium and large; take care to select the right size, as choosing the wrong one may affect the usefulness and accuracy of the device’s onboard sensors.
The device will be available on the Microsoft Store at this price until August 31 – and Microsoft isn’t the only retailer to be offering this discount. The Band is also on sale with £20 off over on Amazon.
Such discounts may well become more commonplace in the weeks and months ahead. Microsoft recently confirmed that it is already working on the next-generation Band, and has reportedly ceased production of the current model, so don't be too surprised to see further stock-shifting promotions in the near future.
