This Surface Pro 6 variant comes priced at $749; features Intel m3 CPU, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage

Today, Microsoft announced its new Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, Surface Studio 2, and Surface Headphones. Although the base model of the Surface Pro 6 was advertised as having an Intel i5 processor with 8GB RAM costing just $899, it looks like some retailers will carry an even cheaper model, starting at $749.

The model was spotted for pre-order on Best Buy's website and there is also a listing for it on B&H Photo Video. The unit, known as model LGN-00001, will arrive with a seventh-generation Intel m3-7Y30 processor, 4GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. This variant is not to be mistaken with the Surface Pro with the same specifications, as the new Surface Pro 6 has a different SKU and model number when compared to last year's. These are the same specifications that were found on last year's base model Surface Pro and Surface Laptop. This model will not be offered in the new Black color and will only be available in Platinum.

Like other models of the Surface Pro 6, this price will only include the unit itself and will not come with a Type Cover. As mentioned before, if interested, the unit is available for pre-order from Best Buy and will be available sometime in the near future from B&H Photo Video.
