After teaming up with Amazon last month to introduce the next-generation Fire TV Edition smart TVs to the U.S. and Canada, Best Buy has announced today that the Toshiba 4K Smart TV (Fire TV Edition) can now be pre-ordered from BestBuy.com and Best Buy as a seller on Amazon's online marketplace.
The new Fire TV Edition of Toshiba 4K Ultra HD Smart TV comes in three size variants: 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch. All models provide live over-the-air TV and a wide array of streaming channels in a single screen which can be controlled through the Alexa-enabled voice remote.
Additionally, you can use the voice remote to launch apps, play music, control smart home devices, and select from a huge library of channels, apps and Alexa skills, movies, and TV shows. Note that you'll have to pair Fire TV with any Alexa-powered Echo device to be able to use your voice for a hands-free control.
All of the Toshiba 4K models will go on sale next month, with the 43-inch model retailing for $329.99, 50-inch for $399.99, and 55-inch for $479.99. Best Buy says that more Fire TV Edition models from Toshiba and Insignia are set for release later this year.
