Ubisoft is teasing a post-apocalyptic Far Cry game

Another entry to the Far Cry series will soon be announced, as Ubisoft released a teaser trailer for a new title that will be shown off in full during The Game Awards later this week. The short teaser can be seen below.

Other than the very post-apocalyptic setting that the trailer paints for the new game, no more information has been released just yet, not even the game's full name. This could be a full-blown sequel to Far Cry 5, a short spin-off entry like Blood Dragon, an adventure set apart from the main series akin to Primal, or even a multiplayer game in these battle royale heavy times.

Whatever the case, the wait won't be a long one. Fans can tune into The Game Awards 2018 presentation on December 6 at 5:30pm PST/ 8:30pm EST to catch the full announcement. Alongside this, The Game Awards has some heavy hitters planned to show up during the ceremony, with Obsidian Entertainment's upcoming RPG, new games for Epic's new store, and much more being planned.
