Windows Server 8 beta install screenshot leaks

It's been a couple of weeks since there has been any new leaked screenshots from new builds of Windows 8. Today, the reliable Winunleaked.tk web site has posted up what is basically a teaser screenshot for the beta install for Windows Server 8, or whatever Microsoft ends up calling the server version of its next operating system.

The leaked screenshot is just one of more to come, according to the web site. It states, "This Beta version come with a lot of change, refreshed dashboard UI, new features, code cleared…"

Admittedly, it's just a tiny slice of what is to come but we should get more info in the days and weeks ahead before Windows 8, and presumably Windows Server 8, goes into its official public beta test. The beta is currently scheduled to be launched by Microsoft by the end of February. In the meantime, Microsoft and its CEO Steve Ballmer will likely show off the latest build of Windows 8 in less than one week. Microsoft's final CES keynote address will be held in Las Vegas on Janaury 9 and, yes, we will be there to cover it.
