We're certainly fans of Microsoft's Surface 3 tablet, thanks to its rock-solid build quality, impressive display and all-round capabilities. At £419 in the UK, the device seems fairly priced, but you'll have to fork out an extra £109.99 if you want a Type Cover keyboard to go with it.
The good news is that you can now get 10% off the Surface 3 from the UK Microsoft Store. That means that prices now start at £377.10 (normally £419) for the entry-level model with 64GB storage and 2GB RAM.
Microsoft is also offering a 10% discount on its Type Covers for both the Surface 3 and the 12-inch Surface Pro 3. That means you'll be saving £11 on the usual cost, bringing the price down to £98.99. Of course, that's not exactly a massive discount when you consider the cost of the tablet on top of that - but hey, every little bit helps.
The discount applies to all colours of both Type Covers, including red, purple, blue and black - but at time of writing, the bright blue (Surface 3) and cyan (Pro 3) versions were out of stock.
The keyboards will remain on sale at the lower price until August 7, but it's not clear how long the discount will remain available on the Surface 3.
