hmmm... ok its only fp1 but nico seems to be no a run at the moment. most make him free if he knows he can also easily afford finishing 2nd if hammy wins. pressures mounting on hammy. he needs the title this year. this would put him right up with alonso. if he fails, he will end like another villeneuve or hill.... decisive times ahead.

as a long time massa fan, i am pleased with that result. the guy still has it. however, the race, i think, will go to rosberg and i dont expect hami anyhting else than finish 2nd.

Standing restarts confirmed for 2015. The FIA does not listen. Just about everyone is against this.

I, for one, do not want a race decided by how good someones clutch performs.

I'm not sure if I like this or not, part of me thinks its stupid, but part of me thinks it could provide for some interesting racing, always a lot of action from a standing start.

Yes, it will provide more excitement but this is F1, not nascrash. You get to build your lead in F1 and that shouldn't be taken away from you due to a car issue. Standing starts are 90% of how the car's systems transfer the power to the wheels (and how much grip the tires will have during the restarts). This rule would unfairly penalize drivers.

The FIA needs to reform its contact with its fans, not stupid rule changes to bring people back to the sport.

 

The archaic way they treat media pales in comparison to the likes of WRC and BTCC.
