You mean to say that Donald Trump's health report is completely bogus? Quelle surprise.

This doesn't belong in Domestic Politics....it belongs in Conspiracy Theories until there is honest, factual proof from a real doctor.

If we were honest so would most of the "infowars party" taking points would be too BHENGAZI BHENGAZI! I disagree about "from a real doctor" this is worthless there are geologists who claim the earth is 6000 years old. It does not make it so.

"From a doctor who examined her recently" is what evidence we would need.

Well that's a new low like something out of north Korean news. If we get video of you coughing 3 times we can depict you as being on deaths door. I guess this is what non "liberal media" is

Wikileaks E-Mails Show Hillary Looked Into Parkinson's Drug After Suffering From "Decision Fatigue"

Submitted by Paul Joseph Watson via InfoWars.com,

Emails released by Wikileaks show that Hillary Clinton looked into a drug used to treat sleepiness and Parkinson’s disease after she apparently began suffering from “decision fatigue” back in 2011.

Clinton sent an email to close confidante and advisor Cheryl D. Mills on August 19, 2011 featuring the text of an article entitled Do You Suffer From Decision Fatigue?

The article talks about how people in positions of power and influence can suffer from “decision fatigue” that causes them to be “low on mental energy” and prompts the sufferer to “become reckless” and “act impulsively”.

The article also explains how “decision fatigue” could explain why “ordinarily sensible people get angry at colleagues,” which is possibly a nod to Clinton’s infamous temper tantrums that have left her staffers in tears.

Which is used to treat “excessive sleepiness in patients with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and multiple sclerosis,” as well as “excessive sleepiness caused by narcolepsy”.

...

The fact that the drug is used to treat Parkinson’s is interesting in light of what we were told by a Secret Service whistleblower earlier this month, that Hillary has a serious neurological disease.

The date of the emails is significant because Hillary’s apparent problems with “decision fatigue” were evident before she fell and hit her head in 2012.

While the mainstream media continues to dismiss questions over Hillary’s health as a “conspiracy theory,” more prominent voices are beginning to express the same concerns.

Yesterday we reported on top doctor and Rutgers University Professor of Medicine Bob Lahita’s call for Hillary to be assessed by an impartial panel of physicians to ensure she is fit for office.

Hillary attempted to deflect suspicions over her health during an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live last night….by opening an already opened jar of pickles...

BBC reporter undergoes 'smart drug' test

Quote

5 January 2016 Last updated at 00:55 GMT

BBC reporter Benjamin Zand has taken the 'smart drug' modafinil as an experiment, to explore claims that it can make those using it work more effectively.

Modafinil has been labelled the "world's first safe smart drug" after a study by researchers at Harvard and Oxford universities suggested its effects were "low risk" when taken in the short term. But side-effects can include insomnia, headaches and potentially dangerous skin rashes - and there is a considerable lack of data on its long-term effects.

To understand how it can potentially benefit users, Zand undergoes cognitive tests - before and after taking the smart drug. The results are not conclusive, as there were a number of other factors that could have affected them.

CEO's have been wolfing them down for a few years now.  Biohacker Dave Asprey lives on them, and was featured on a piece about Provigil.

Nobody uses this pill for it's indended use.  It's an attempt at chemical superhumanism.

Considering nobody here can actually, objectively, discuss this topic (so much so we get a juvenile duplicate thread posted in relation to Trump just to continue the BS) perhaps these threads should be closed.

So the Director of Policy Planning at the Department of State or whoever is the equivalent in your job sends you highly detailed research on Viagra and penis enlargement?

Maybe you are right and she was just researching it for recreational use. What does that make her?

The entire statement by the doctor was preposterous. The idea that he would be the 'healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency' is laughable and no credible medical doctor would use the term 'astonishingly excellent' or describe his physical strength as 'extraordinary'. It's comical. Do you honest think that the statement from Trump's doctor about his health is at all credible? If so I despair, I really do.

theyarecomingforyou - in THIS context, all too often, moral = political.  I'm not saying that age is not an issue (it is, and has been for any Presidential candidate over the age of sixty (two previous examples = Reagan and Bush the Elder; both of whom got elected)); however, a GREATER issue (for both) is that the ONLY candidate that has had any significant (as in headline-making in and of itself) PHYSICAL injuries has been Hillary - not Donald Trump.  Further, Donald Trump has NO reason - moral or otherwise - to expose himself to his political opponents in terms of his physical health or any other issue - no matter HOW much said opposition would try to guilt him into it.

I understand where you're coming from but I'd make the following points:

1) Clinton has released her medical records and was the first candidate to do so

2) Trump's medical report is demonstrably false and extremely vague

3) There is a chain of command should her health issues prevent her from doing her job

4) It is ultimately for the electorate to decide

5) Some of the best regarded political leaders have suffered ill-health and had many personal vices

I would argue the statements made by Trump on any number of topics should disqualify him from public office but that's not how democracy works. I would argue that Clinton's corruption should also disqualify her from public office. This election has revealed how corrupt and broken the US political system is.

There has been worse uttered by Presidential candidates in the past (on multiple occasions, such as John Quincy Adams calling Andrew Jackson's mother effectively a prostitute and him an adulterer). Trump's statements, while outlandish and blunt, aren't unheard of in campaigns. The real issue with Trump is it seems he doesn't think before he speaks. I just hope that doesn't translate to actions as well (though as you said, there is a chain of command to prevent that). In the end of the day, both Hillary and Trump have some problems. It just depends on which problems you're more willing to deal with (ie. Trump's unfiltered bravado or foreign influence on Hillary).

And that is why I said things the way I said them - I'm not taking the bait, nor would I recommend that Donald Trump do so.

Part of the issue with physical health of politicians (and candidates for political office - on any level) is that the issue - when it gets down to brass tacks - mostly means exactly diddly-squat; consider no less than William Howard Taft (the heftiest President of the United States ever) - exactly what impact did that heft actually have on his health while in office?  That is despite the effects of obesity - and Taft is an extreme case - being known.  I'm not getting into it - from either direction.

CNN Cancels Dr. Drew's Show One Week After He Voiced "Grave Concern" For Hillary's Health

Quote

One week ago, board-certified medicine specialist, TV personality and CNN employee Dr. Drew Pinsky broke the mold of conformity, when he said that he is "gravely concerned" about presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s health, pointing out that treatment she is receiving could be the result of her bizarre behaviors.

Appearing on KABC’s McIntyre in the Morning, Pinsky said he and his colleague Dr. Robert Huizenga became “gravely concerned….not just about her health but her health care,” after analyzing what medical records on Hillary had been released. Pinsky pointed out that after Clinton fainted and fell in late 2012, she suffered from a “transverse sinus thrombosis,” an “exceedingly rare clot” that “virtually guarantees somebody has something wrong with their coagulation system.” “What’s wrong with her coagulation system, has that been evaluated?” asked Dr. Drew.

Pinsky described the situation as “bizarre,” and said that Hillary’s medical condition was “dangerous” and “concerning”. Dr. Drew also went on to add that it was a sign of “brain damage” when Hillary had to wear prism glasses after her fall.

Just as stunning as Pinsky's assessment which promptly went viral and led to the immediate takedown of the original interview webpage by KABC-AM radio, was that it came from an employee of HLN, which is part of the pro-Clinton CNN network.

As such it is probably not surprising that earlier today, just one week later, CNN executive vice president Ken Jautz announced Thursday that "Dr. Drew and I have mutually agreed to air the final episode of his show on September 22."

"Dr. Drew and his team have delivered more than five years of creative shows and I want to thank them for their hard work and distinctive programming," Jautz said in a statement. "Their audience-driven shows, in particular, were innovative and memorable TV. And Dr. Drew has been an authoritative voice on addiction and on many other topical issues facing America today."

"It has been a privilege working at HLN," Pinsky said in a statement of his own. "My executive producer Burt Dubrow and our outstanding staff and contributors were consistently exceptional. I am very excited to stay within the CNN Worldwide family as a contributor."

There was no mention of the Hillary fiasco in the official parting statement; it was deemed redundant.

HLN will air reruns of "Forensic Files" and episodes of CNN originals in the "Dr. Drew" 7 p.m. ET time slot.

Just yesterday, one of Britain’s most prominent right-wing leaders, a man named Nigel Farage, who stoked anti-immigrant sentiments to win the referendum to have Britain leave the European Union, campaigned with Donald Trump in Mississippi.

Farage has called for a bar on the children of legal immigrants from public schools and health services, has said women are and I quote “worth less” than men, and supports scrapping laws that prevent employers from discriminating based on race -- that’s who Donald Trump wants by his side when he is addressing an audience of American voters.

And the grand godfather of this global brand of extreme nationalism is Russian President Vladimir Putin.

There you have it. Putin has invented nationalism and both Trump and Farage are his disciples.

Assange slams Clinton for ‘Russian hysteria’ & US media for politicized election coverage

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has accused Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton of creating “hysteria about Russia,” while criticizing the US media for being too politicized in its presidential election coverage.

Speaking to Fox News via a video-link from the Ecuadorian embassy in London, Assange accused Clinton of engendering a “kind of neo-McCarthyist hysteria,” referring to Joe McCarthy, an anti-communist US Senator in the 1950s.

She has palled up with the neo-cons responsible for the Iraq war and she has grabbed onto a kind of neo-McCarthy hysteria about Russia and is using this to demonize the Trump campaign,” Assange told Fox News

American Electorate Loses As Partisan Media Coverage Of Candidate Health Turns Outright Bizarre

Quote

The recent media frenzy surrounding Clinton and Trump's health records has accomplished little more than to, once again, expose a "press" that is becoming increasingly partisan with each passing day.

Right-leaning media outlets have spent countless hours reporting on the various health issues experienced by Clinton over the years and pointing to pictures of her falling down on the campaign trail or seemingly zoning out at times as evidence of her frailty.  Meanwhile the left-leaning organizations have mostly dismissed the Hillary health concerns as conspiracy theories of right-wing nut jobs.

Like this tweet from a New York Times columnist calling on google to censor commentary on Hillary's health...

Or this interview by Rachel Maddow where Hillary's health concerns are repeatedly dismissed as conspiracy theories.

The problem is that Hillary's potential health issues were easy to dismiss when they were only being covered by some "right-wing" media outlets like Breitbart.  But now, as The Hill points out, reputable doctors are starting to come forward to suggest that Hillary's health might be a serious issues.  One such person is Dr. Bob Lahita, Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, who offered the following comments on Hillary's health:

Quote

"This is a very unusual story with Hillary,” said Lahita, pointing to the two blood clots she's been diagnosed with in the past. "The very fact that she’s having these clots and she’s had two bouts of thrombosis is disconcerting to say the least."

When asked if questions about Clinton's health are legitimate and not part of a political conspiracy, Lahita said without hesitation, “I don’t think it’s a conspiracy.”

Lahita then pivoted to past presidents who entered office with health problems.

“You go back to the history of our presidents and we’ve had many presidents up until Lyndon Johnson who’ve concealed their health during their campaigns," explained Lahita.

"It had dire effects for our country, going from Kennedy to Roosevelt, to Woodrow Wilson, whose wife ran the White House for some time," he continued, "So we have issues here and I think both candidates should be very forthcoming and perhaps have an impartial panel of physicians review the data and make that kind of decision before Americans go to the polls."

Last week, we also reported how Dr. Drew Pinsky, board-certified medicine specialist and CNN employee, broke the mold of conformity at CNN, when he said that he is "gravely concerned" about presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s health, pointing out that treatment she is receiving could be the result of her bizarre behaviors (see "CNN Cancels Dr. Drew's Show One Week After He Voiced "Grave Concern" For Hillary's Health").  Pinsky's honesty promptly got him fired from CNN.

With legitimate doctors coming forward with questions about Hillary's health, the left has been forced to pivot on their "conspiracy theory" narrative.  Which is why they are now going on the offensive by raising questions about Trump's health and painting his doctor as someone who belongs in the "loony bin" (they may have a point there actually).

Countless hours of media coverage have been spent analyzing the following letter from Trump's doctor who declares "If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency."

Trump%20Health%20Letter_0.JPG

While we find the media circus "entertaining", we have some radical ideas on how to put this topic to bed.  Is the health of the next President of the United States a legitimate issue?  Of course it is - let's face it, no one is voting for the candidate with the best VP.

So why not just have a transparent process where independent doctors review and assess the historical health records of both candidates?  Wouldn't the American voters benefit from some facts rather than the empty media rhetoric?

But, logical solutions like that wouldn't sell many newspaper or TV ads so no holding of breath please.

    • One big question about Mars was answered thanks to Einstein's 100 year old theory by Sayan Sen Image via DepositPhotos Scientists at the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) have calculated how time passes on Mars compared with Earth, adding detail to how timekeeping would need to work beyond Earth’s orbit. The study, published in The Astronomical Journal, found that clocks on Mars run an average of 477 microseconds, or millionths of a second, faster per day than clocks on Earth. A microsecond is one millionth of a second, a very small unit used in precise scientific timing systems such as atomic clocks, which measure time using consistent atomic behavior. This difference is not constant. Because Mars moves around the Sun in a non-circular path (an eccentric orbit, meaning its distance from the Sun changes over time instead of staying fixed) and is affected by gravity from other bodies, the daily difference can vary by as much as 226 microseconds over a Martian year. The study also identifies smaller repeating changes of about 40 microseconds per day linked to synodic cycles (repeating periods that describe how planets line up with each other as they orbit the Sun from different positions). These longer patterns affect how time differences slowly rise and fall. To make these estimates, researchers compared Mars with Earth and the Moon. The work looks at relativistic proper time (the time actually measured by a clock depending on its speed and the strength of gravity where it is located, as described in Einstein’s relativity). This shows that each world has its own slightly different “rate” of time. This becomes more important as space missions expand into cislunar space (the region between Earth and the Moon) and toward Mars. On Earth, time systems rely on atomic clocks and satellites, which stay closely synchronized for navigation and communication. The study is based on Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity, which shows that time is affected by gravity and motion. Stronger gravity makes clocks run slower, while weaker gravity makes them run faster. “The time is just right for the Moon and Mars,” said NIST physicist Bijunath Patla. “This is the closest we have been to realizing the science fiction vision of expanding across the solar system.” A day on Mars is about 40 minutes longer than on Earth, and a Martian year lasts 687 Earth days. But the main question is not just about days and years, but how fast time itself passes. An atomic clock placed on Mars would function normally, but compared with one on Earth, the two would slowly drift apart due to differences in gravity and motion. This requires careful calculation of what is similar to a time-zone difference across planets. Researchers modeled Mars using a reference surface and included gravitational effects from the Sun, Earth, the Moon, and other planets. This includes a multi-body gravitational system (often described as a three-body or four-body problem, where predicting motion becomes difficult because multiple large objects all pull on each other at the same time through gravity). Mars also follows a Keplerian orbit (an idealized elliptical orbit based on simple gravitational laws that assume smooth motion, before adding real-world disturbances from other bodies). In addition, the researchers accounted for solar tides (small changes in gravitational force caused by the Sun that slightly distort planetary motion and timing, especially in systems involving Earth and the Moon). These combined effects are described as relativistic proper-time offsets (small but measurable differences in elapsed time between locations caused by gravity and motion), which must be included when comparing clocks across planets. “But for Mars, that’s not the case. Its distance from the Sun and its eccentric orbit make the variations in time larger. A three-body problem is extremely complicated. Now we’re dealing with four: the Sun, Earth, the Moon and Mars,” Patla explained. “The heavy lifting was more challenging than I initially thought.” Although the differences are extremely small, they matter for navigation and communication systems that depend on precise timing. Even modern networks on Earth, such as mobile systems, rely on timing accuracy at very small fractions of a second. Communication between Earth and Mars currently takes about four to 24 minutes or more depending on planetary positions, meaning signals are not real-time. A shared and accurate time system could help future missions reduce confusion in navigation and data exchange. “If you get synchronization, it will be almost like real-time communication without any loss of information. You don’t have to wait to see what happens,” Patla said. Researchers note that fully developed interplanetary communication networks are still far in the future. However, understanding how time behaves across planets helps prepare for those systems. “It may be decades before the surface of Mars is covered by the tracks of wandering rovers, but it is useful now to study the issues involved in establishing navigation systems on other planets and moons,” said Neil Ashby. “Like current global navigation systems like GPS, these systems will depend on accurate clocks, and the effects on clock rates can be analyzed with the help of Einstein’s general theory of relativity.” Patla added that the results also help improve understanding of time itself under relativity. “It's good to know for the first time what is happening on Mars timewise. Nobody knew that before. It improves our knowledge of the theory itself, the theory of how clocks tick and relativity,” he said. The game, officially called Age of Empires Mobile: PC Edition, is available for free on Steam and Microsoft Store, almost two years after its initial release for handheld devices. Age of Empires is one of those franchises that entire generations grew up with. The original came out in 1997, and immediately got people hooked to building civilizations and crushing their enemies on the battlefield. However, the franchise today is a far cry from its roots, as Age of Empires Mobile is, well, a game optimized for handheld devices, and not a classic RTS title we’ve all loved for years. And, of course, it includes in-game purchases. The PC version is still a mobile game at its core, but it’s been optimized for desktop play. There’s mouse control, full keyboard compatibility, and a refined UI. Microsoft also refreshed the visuals with some 4k textures, so the game should look better on larger screens.
