I havent read much of this thread, but people interested in these kinds of things could take a look at my webpage i've just added to my profile.

Not that I dont want to read it you understand, just i know that these ideas can lead to confusion and, simply, misunderstanding.

It's not really a useful question asked in the topic name, i must say ! :)

Please dont flame me or post 'inflammitory' comments on it here. If you want to talk about my page just PM me. If you dont want to read it now thats fine, it's quite in depth.

Some of it's even off topic too! ;)

BOOGSoftball.com - may not answer your questions, but a fun website as well..

:woot:

back on topic...

Religion, in and of itself is just a word...

God didn't create a religion. Man created religion. God is love. plain and simple. All he wants is to be loved back.

no u guys got it wrong, what i am trying to ask is do you guys believe that religion is real or is just an excuse to explain the unknown. i don't care about what kind of religion, but religion as a general catagory

ok, if your asking about 'religion' i believe it is true, which answers your main question, though im also a christian, so i believe 'religion' actually refers to, similar as boogmasterdan said, just other things man has created to try and fill the void only God can fill.

-- and thats my bible bashing for the day, and i dont do it often, so dont bug me bout it if ur just looking to insult

Nothinhg makes me want more to cry  than religios people. And this new immature religion that ragest upon us and shall destroy current world in upcoming World War III .. yep that one is islam and its ways to make women objects and kill those who don't belive in their ****. Luckily christianity is bit more tolerable and I manage my way in this society. If I would been living in islam one, I would gone insane or got killed because allah backwards means halla which means in finnish damage or snow frost :D

Oh yes, christianity is real tolerate... especially for gay people, right?

the bible and torah may not be 100%, but the Quran DEFINETELY is 100% true.

i dont know one christian or jew or heard of one that has memorised the whole of the torah or the bible (gospel).

i know many people who have memorised the quran. this is how it has been over centuries, that is why the validity stays. that is why the Quran has not been falsified.

so you are saying everything is false until it is memorised

and then it becomes 100% true?

I think what he was refering to was the dedication of those to memorize the Quran - and the lack of spiritual dedication by Christians in general.

Kinda sad that we Christians won't memorize the truth and you have heathens memorizing false doctrine and performing cultish activities...

mech, why would i try to prove the bible to you? it has been falsified so many times that it is embarassing to even think of using it!

now on the other hand, the Quran, a Holy book which has NOT been proved wrong.

aight, let me get some info for ya

Ignorance like this is what is wrong with the world today.

I know little about Islam, as I'm currently in the process of learning more about buddhism, but one message has been repeated over and over again through this entire thread, by other muslims, and that is that true followers of the Islamic faith don't behave in the manner in which you are. Constantly belittling other religions for having a different belief structure than Islam isn't a way to get your point across, nor (according to what I've read in this thread) a proper activity for Muslim followers. And since you seem incapable of formulating a concept on your own without insulting or posting links that attempt to get across what you're trying to say, what exactly is the point of your continuous posting, other than to raise your own post count? I suggest that, instead of wasting everyones time by injecting yourself into conversations that are above your capacity for understanding, you spend more time reading the Quaran, since it's painfully obvious that you more than likely never have.

That being said...

I was going to try to stay out of this thead, since it seems quite long and heated, and I've seen hardly anything original or even worthy of such an extended conversation. The only point I have, or even worthwhile to contribute to all this mess is that IMHO, religion is nothing more than a path, and each religion (or lack thereof) is merely a different path to the same destination. It is what you do along that path that determines who you are and how you are remembered. If you can live your life and be a good person without religion, more power to you. If you need spirituality in your life, feel free. One of the traits that raises us above common animals is the capacity for free will and thought; exercise it, to yourself. To attempt to force your personal beliefs (or lack thereof) on others is nothing more than continuing a cycle of stupidity that has done nothing but cause dispair and discontent throughout human history. Spirituality is a personal choice, not a pep rally. It's a personal decision. Keep it that way.

so you are saying everything is false until it is memorised

and then it becomes 100% true?

no... what he IS saying is that the sources for all the Holy Books today are generally flawed, ie they have been tampered with due to the fact tht their various copies have been lost/destroyed etc. However the Quran, which is the only exception is preserved in it's true form, because as a sign of respect, many muslims MEMORISE the entire Quran. This practice has been carrying on from the day the Quran was revealed, and thus manyparents taught their children the Quran by heart, and so we can be sure today tht the copies of the Quran we read today are still 100% authentic.

Pls do note that Islam in no way requires that we memorise the Quran. It is only done by people as a sign of respect.

Proven my point, thanks!

About the god part, again read my signature.

God doesn't have a problem with homosexual people at all. It's their sin that he doesn't tolerate.

But at the same time, he doesn't like lies, murder, stealing, and using His name in vain.

Why don't people swear to other gods?

Instead of calling on Jesus, why not "Zeus!" or something? Even better, I prefer the ever popular, "Oh man..." Because it's not God's fault we're damned, and "Jesus H. Christ" isn't the problem. It's man's fault, and Jesus is the solution... =)

    • Anthropic introduces Claude Tag, a new AI teammate for Slack by Fiza Ali Anthropic has announced Claude Tag, a new feature that lets teams work with Claude directly inside Slack. The idea is simple: once Claude is added to a Slack workspace and given access to selected channels, users can tag @Claude in conversations and assign tasks. Claude can then work through those requests using connected tools and data sources before posting its results back into a Slack thread. What makes Claude Tag different from a typical chatbot is that it's designed to operate as a shared assistant for an entire team rather than a single user. Everyone in a channel interacts with the same Claude instance. This allows the team members to see ongoing work and continue tasks started by others. Furthermore, Anthropic says the AI can build context over time by following conversations in channels where it has permission to operate. This means users don't have to repeatedly provide the same background information for every request. The system is also designed for asynchronous work. Instead of waiting for responses in a chat window, users can assign a task to Claude and return later once the work is complete. Anthropic says Claude can break larger requests into multiple steps and use connected tools to complete them. Moreover, the system can also schedule follow-up tasks and continue working on projects over extended periods. Another feature allows Claude to keep the users updated and follow up on unresolved tasks when its optional "ambient" mode is enabled. The company says the tool is already being used internally for software development, data analysis, support workflows, and debugging. According to Anthropic, around 65% of its product team's code is now generated through its internal version of Claude Tag. For organisations concerned about security, administrators can control which channels, tools, and data sources Claude can access. Separate Claude instances can also be configured for different departments, helping keep information isolated between teams. Administrators can also monitor activity logs, review completed tasks, and set spending limits at both the organisation and channel level. Claude Tag is now available in beta for Claude Enterprise and Claude Team customers and runs on Claude Opus 4.8 that was announced this May. The feature will also replace Anthropic's existing Claude in Slack application, with current users able to migrate within a 30-day migration window. Lastly, eligible customers will receive introductory credits to help teams evaluate the new experience.

On the connectivity side, the Studio Pro use Class 1 Bluetooth for a stable, long-range wireless connection. There is also a 3.5mm input if you want to plug in directly, including use with in-flight entertainment systems. Controls are located on the headphones and include a "b" button for music and call control, a volume rocker, and a multifunction button used for switching listening modes, EQ settings, power, and pairing. On Apple devices, they support one-touch pairing with iCloud-linked devices, hands-free Siri access, Find My tracking based on last connected location, and automatic software updates. On Android devices, they support Google Fast Pair, Audio Switch between compatible devices, and Google Find My Device tracking, with additional features available through the Beats app. When it comes to the battery performance, it is rated at up to 40 hours of listening time with ANC turned off, and up to 24 hours with ANC or Transparency mode enabled.
