this weeks episode was HORRIBLE, defeintaly the worst this season.

I wouldnt say horrible. I think you are only saying that because they didnt reveal anything about the island and it was pretty much focused on Sawyer. It was ok.

As the season begins to wind down, the episodes will get much better as they have to deal with the island more. You can bet your ass that episodes will be great starting next week when Jin is accused of messing up the raft...but who did?

Also, Hurley goes to try to find the French woman after that and then you will see probably the most interesting episode this season, "Deus Ex Machina" which features the ever entertaining Locke and most likely...more about that hatch in the jungle...

OMG IA M NOW MESSE DUP WITH TEH OC

sorry sorry

i was kinda confused!!! with the oc show...

 It's ok man... Just remember which thread you're in. ;)

As far as this past episode, it was ok. We all obviously want to see what is going on with the island but they obviously can't show it to all of us in the very beginning. That's why they have all of these "intermission" episodes as I like to call it. An episode that gives you a break from the real episodes. Anyways, I can't wait till the next two episodes! Hurley, the French woman, Jin, and Locke! :woot:

BTW, Welcome to Neowin manticore!

On tonight's Lost...spoilerized for you babies out there who think a TV Guide synopsis is a spoiler...

02/10 - More on the intriguing backstory of Jin and Sun is framed by increasing suspicions and feelings of dread among the survivors, fueled by the mysterious burning of Michael's raft. Source: TitanTV

01/21 - When the raft the survivors have been building mysteriously burns down, Michael is convinced that Jin is responsible for the sabotage, which only further escalates their rivalry. Meanwhile, Sun stuns her fellow survivors with a surprising revelation, and Boone gives Sayid a warning about Shannon. Source: ABC

Also its been confirmed that Claire's baby will be born on the season finale. That's not a spoiler, its just common sense. Of course the baby will be born soon.

And some of you know what that means...

With birth, comes death. One of the 14 will die that very episode.

I actually really liked the Sawyer episode - for a moment I thought he was the one who killed Jack's father to put him out of his misery.

But also, I don't mind the fact that myserteries aren't revealed in every episode - there's just no way to keep that up. But since the show centers around its characters (and honestly, you could remove almost all of the island mysteries and I still would think the show is incredibly just in how it deals with the characters in one of the most natural ways I've ever seen) more than makes up for not getting all the mysteries revealed in one fell swoop. We'll get some big reveals in the season finale, but even as we get those, there's sure to be a cliffhanger that will keep us on our toes for the whole summer.

That was a pretty spiffy episode...

I totally didn't see the black kid wanting to burn the raft. And, I loved how Damien Rice's "Delicate" was playing in the end, and then his batteries died!

I can't wait till next week... seems like things are going to start happening!!! :woot: I love this show!

This shows starting to tick me off,

they build up that something major is going to be revealed about the island every week, I didnt see anything damn major. Except how the knife guy lived his confrontation with the "beast" and still bagged a boar.

Its ticking me off, this "monster/beast" is lame, its like there stuck on Jurassic park or something!!!

Yea, I know how you feel. But to be fair, ABC is the one that makes the previews....what I'm wondering is if Walt burned down the raft with fire or if it was because of his powers (probably with regular fire, but who knows)

Whats really going to tickle your brain is just how the plane crashed. The season finale flashes back to when they boarded the plane...and Claire's baby is born.

Like every TV show out there, the season finale is going to answer some questions, not all, and then ask a few more. I really get annoyed with people who complain about the show as if they want the season finale to answer EVERYTHING about the show. Like its supposed to be wrapping up or something. It's a TV SHOW people, they want it to last as long as it can, and seeing how great it's been so far, I hope it stays for years to come. I dont need to be fed ALL the answers right now, I want to go along for the ride.

COuld they be in the bermuda triangle

No...the plane was lost in between Australia and LA somewhere in the south Pacific Ocean. The bermuda triangle is in the Atlantic Ocean south of Florida.

There could be something triangleish about the area. I dunno.

    • A different thing with Russia. When you say is it better, depends on things. It is better that we don't have the E.U making rules and laws that have nothing to do with them. Is the trading part better? No, that is really mucked up, but then we knew that was going to happen and we would have make agreements, like we do with other parts of the world. Freedom of movement is certainly better, but could be improved, we still need more control over our borders. do you live in the U.K?
    • So what am I quoting from them? I never listened to what Farage or his cronies said. I wanted the U.K to leave the E.u years before the referendum and it had nothing to do with Farage and his cronies. So what country do you live in? Did we work much better together? We were always at logger heads with the E.U because we disagreed with them so much. Maggie was always on at them. I would have thought the E.U was glad to get rid of us as we stopped the integration or made it a two tier. Now without us they can integrate more. I would not have voted out if it was just a trading block and we can still work together on somethings.

    • Apple reportedly looks to blacklisted Chinese memory chips as RAM prices climb by Karthik Mudaliar Image via Apple Apple is reportedly trying to get a clearance from the Trump administration to buy memory from ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) to get some relief from soaring DRAM prices. As per a report by the Financial Times, Apple approached the Commerce Department more than a month ago and also spoke to other officials and allies in Washington. For starters, CXMT is a company that's already been placed on the Pentagon's list of Chinese military companies. The Chinese company is the country's top DRAM maker. For Apple, the timing is certainly awkward but not surprising. Tim Cook had recently warned that Apple would have to raise prices because AI companies are buying up large amounts of memory for data centers, and just like that, Apple raised MacBook and iPad prices. Micron also recently revealed that customers have committed billions of dollars to secure memory supply years in advance, which shows us how aggressive securing infrastructure has become. This gives suppliers such as Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron more leverage, while pushing hardware makers to look for alternatives. CXMT is one of those alternatives, but not the simplest one. Apple has spent many years trying to diversify parts of its supply chain away from China, especially for final assembly, while still depending heavily on Chinese manufacturing and suppliers. Even domestic brands from China are moving towards CXMT and YMTC instead of relying on Samsung, Micron, and SK Hynix. For Apple, though, it would invite more scrutiny than local Chinese companies. For now, this is more like a lobbying effort rather than a confirmed supply deal. There's no official statement from either of the parties. What is clearer, though, is the pressure behind such a request. AI demand has certainly made hardware a bottleneck, and companies are trying everything they can to bring things back to normal, even if that means making politically sensitive choices.
