Whew-who! They found the jerk that started it all... guess what? He's got a few drunken driving tickets, too. He's also on probation. Surprise anyone? :)

Not necessarily, but here's the information on the supposed cup tosser.

http://www.badjocks.com/

The attorney for John Frank Green, the man authorities believe set off the Pacers Ron Artest by tossing a cup on him as he lay on the scorer's table, claims his client did nothing wrong and that it's the media that's portraying him negatively. "Everyone is targeting him as the villain," Sean Patrick Smith said about his client. "He's not a villain. The Pacers are the villains." Later, after his client made the moronic statement, "If they're going to charge me, charge. But what are they going to charge me with?" Smith quickly followed-up with "If he did it, the most he did was throw a cup of ice. Now he's being made out to be a monster."

"Fan in White Hat" Update: Guess Who's Got a Criminal Record?  - John Frank Green, the man identified as the "fan in the white hat" who authorities now believe started the melee at the Palace of Auburn Hills when he threw a cup of beer on Pacer Ron Artest, has apparently been in trouble with the law before and is currently on probation. According to Oakland County Prosecutor David Gorcyca (ironically, a former neighbor) Mr. Green has several previous criminal convictions, including one for felony assault with intent to do great bodily harm. We hope he was holding that beer for a friend, because a condition of Green's probation was that he not drink alcohol, in part because of previous drunken-driving convictions. Below is a list of his offenses:

    *      2003 -- Operating under the influence of liquor/operating while visibly impaired (second offense)

    *      1989 -- Assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder

    *      1989 -- Escape from prison

    *      1986 -- Carrying concealed weapons

    *      1986 -- Uttering and publishing, which is using a false, forged, altered or counterfeit record, deed or instrument to injure or defraud.

Gorcyca also said that Green was a season ticket holder who is now barred from the Palace because of the incident. (At right, a still image of John Green in the stands right before the trouble started between the Pacers and Piston's fans Friday night.)

During the "Today" interview, Artest plugged a new CD from a group on his record label three times and wore a T-shirt and hat emblazoned with the logo of TruWarier Records.

Looks like Ronny boy is not all that concerned over the suspension if he can take the time to plug away his record label the first time he publicly speaks. :no:

what do you expect.. when when you make so much money you could care less if you loose $5million

like bill gates.. he's got 50 billion, stock market crashes, he looses 10 billion.. he's not going to cry, he's still got 40 billion. (not exact figures.. just to make a point)

Artest is a spoiled brat, he shouldn't even be allowed to play in the NBA, all he does is drag his team down with his half-assed rapping.

Look at his stats and then make a constructive comment. Didn't you guys say the same thing about Rasheed Wallace when he went to Detriot? You all whined how he would drag Detroit down. He sure did drag them down :rolleyes:

    • The current Statcoungter desktop numbers has Google Chrome increasing it's market share this past year and currently commanding 75% share. Everybody else is just making up the numbers with even MS Edge losing 3% this past year and has dipped just below 10% share which is staggering considering it's default on every Windows deviced purchased. If these numbers are correct that terrible Edge number is both devastating and embarrassing for MS especially when you add in the terribly low Bing market share. This leads me to ask a couple of questions as the default browser holding just less than 10% market share seems really weird. It used to be that all Chromium browsers were being counted as Google Chrome in some cases.  Is this still happening? Do these high Google Chrome numbers contains some Edge user numbers?
    • Yeah, all web browsers seem to have some junk in them these days. The regular Brave browser has a lot of unnecessary stuff in it, similar to Microsoft Edge, so I don't see any benefits of using Brave over Microsoft Edge if you already have Microsoft Edge fully set up with adblockers and that. The cleanest or best free browser outside of 'Microsoft Edge' I’ve tried so far is 'Opera Air'. It still has some bloat, but nowhere near as much as Brave browser, for example. I also really like the web browser called 'Floorp' that is based on Firefox. I have a system wide Adblocking program for Windows 11 that doesn't just blocks ads in the the web browser, but over the whole thing. I don't really need a web browser with an inbuilt adblocker because of that.
