I agree with LOC. I did a warrior char and quickly gave up soloing - too slow attack speed to take on mobs alone. Warriors work best a tank in a group taking aggro from mobs.

In retail Im gonna do a Rogue char - they seem to be very powerful in terms of DPS and sneak ability

My friend is a level 46 (or maybe 48 by now ...) Night Elf Rouge and he's constantly hitting 700-900 crits left and right on mobs, it's insane really. I hate him. But then again another friend is a 59 Hunter (almost 60) and he'll hit for like a 1500+ crit ALL the time, bah. Stupid priests, I just hit a 484 crit though with my Mind Blast (Rank 6)!!!

hey all im thinking of getting  a Imini  i was woundering  will it play  WOW

system requirements:

Mac OS X version 10.3.5

933MHz PowerPC G4 processor or higher

512MB of RAM (DDR RAM recommended)

32MB video card (ATI or NVIDIA)

4GB of hard disk space

56K or faster modem with an Internet connection

Additional monthly fees required

Anyone know where I can find this one WOW movie at?, I saw it on Screen Savers last night when they showed this Pet Bomb going off in the Auction house and it TOTALLY killed everyone who was around it!, Defiantly would have ****ed me off if it were me who died but it still was hilarious to see it though!

I play a Tauren hunter , also he's lvl 33

I sometimes play better solo then in groups, mainly because in big group I can't find my pet :p .. I can take mobs 2 - 3 levels above me, (working on lvl 33 - 35 quests currently) .... and I can take on 2 -3 mobs on or below my level..

I also played a Warlock until 22, I don't like their pets, the voidwalker is tank but I find it weaker then hunter pets, with a hunter you have more variety, like, you can tame a Bear if you want to use a tank, You can tame a croc or raptor if you want a faster attacking mob...

I also have a troll shaman Level 24, Shaman's rock, even at solo... I can outduel almost any class. Paladin's only ones that i have trouble with..

I have also have a lvl 13 Priest, yeah I can't solo crap. but they rock in a group..

For a rogue, I played a rogue until 22 and deleted him.... basically it was a night elf and my hunter got better equipment then him...... so *delete*

edit: BTW, rogues at high level are extremely powerful, expecially in pvp.. best race (imho) is undead for a rogue, they get cannibalism ... after a fight you can consume a humanoid or undead...... and regenerate 100% of health..... better then bandaging :D

edit 2:

here's a picture of my Tauren hunter..

Damn about to hit lvl 56 (Druid).... If your not a rogue or warrior after 50... good luck tryin to complete 75% of the quests solo. Im in the burning steps now and you need a party pretty much for all the quests here... If it wasnt for my 6000+ armor in bear form I would of been toast a long time ago.... :alien:

This thread STILL isn't pinned???

Did a couple of quests in Blackrock Depths last night... There are groups of 5 52+ elites all over the place... almost makin me think you should have a raid party... Well I still have about 5 quests left in there and I know its going to be ruff.... By the way .. you seen that dragon in blasted lands called Teremus?? I seen like 12 lvl 60's try and kill it the other night.... after about 10 min... they gave up... lol... Any of you guys try and kill it yet?? :alien:

I have seen the dragon myself, I think it follows the river path and then circles around?, but I seen a lvl 55 Paladin try to take it on(failed), I think the only thing that can really kill it is magic based attacks?, but all I know right now it is way beyond me to even try right now(lvl 34 Warrior).

    • Ladybird Browser is no longer accepting outside contributions thanks to AI by David Uzondu The Ladybird Browser Project has announced it will no longer accept public pull requests and will limit changes to those made by its maintainers as it works towards its first alpha release. According to Ladybird's creator Andreas Kling, this is "not a change we make lightly," but the rapid shift in AI capabilities forced their hand. Previously, a massive PR implied that the person behind it put a lot of care into the code and is ready to "answer for the consequences." Now with AI, anyone can generate a PR without even understanding the bug fix or feature they want merged. The blog post goes on to say that the team is closing all open public pull requests immediately, and that maintainers will not treat external forks as a review queue for upstream Ladybird. Instead, the team wants outside contributors to focus on reporting bugs and running tests. Kling started Ladybird back in 2019 as LibHTML, a simple HTML viewer for his hobby operating system, SerenityOS, but by September 2022, it had turned into a full-fledged browser project. What sets Ladybird apart from the likes of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Mozilla Firefox is its totally independent engine, which does not rely on pre-existing codebases. The project maintains a strict policy against default search engine deals or user data monetization, keeping development funded entirely by donations and sponsorships. Generative AI is forcing open source project maintainers to rethink how they handle public code contributions (and the whole open-source thing in general). One month ago, a leak about the National Health Service (NHS) suggested the organization was planning to take all of its public repositories private ahead of a May 11 deadline, thanks to Mythos (an AI model that Anthropic believes is too dangerous to be released to the public) and its ability to find and write exploits for zero-day vulnerabilities. Thankfully, the Government Digital Service (GDS) issued a counter-report titled "AI, open code and vulnerability risk in the public sector" that stopped the shutdown by pointing out that hiding code does not improve security.

    • I like the show more options. The only problem with it is that it's not always in a consistent spot in the menu. If the copy/paste/cut, happens to show on top, then more option is the last in the menu. But if copy/paste/cut happens to show on the bottom, then more options is before the copy/paste/cut. But I do like the more options because it hides the stuff that I rarely use. But I would like to choose what it is or isn't hiding. That would make it better.
    • I wonder if "put it back the way it was for decades" ever crossed their minds? 🤣
    • Rescind the stupid "Show more options" in context menus and just give us the full menu instead of adding more steps to get to what we want. The "simpler by default" makes me think they'll go in the opposite direction. Every context menu should have a configure button so you can pick and choose what options should be shown, I know you can do that with some registry fu but that shouldn't be required.
