I made over 1000 gold today from jewelcrafting. Buying all the ore, prospecting it and cutting it, and then reposting on the AH = fast cash. I had 144 auctions of gems up for a total of over 2000g. 30 sold so far.

I made 500G from massive heroics/daily/questing. :p

I need to start selling all the enchanting mats I have and not stocking them for future personal use.

you know I am really blown away at how much gold items are going for now adays.. I mean enchanting mats are WOW!!! so high.. so are mining mats, and not counting herbalism.. if you have a capped out gathering profression, there is NO REASON you can't have a ton of gold.

I don't like to fly around competing with the 2000 thousand other miners for nodes. :p

That's not a really great combo.

If you want to make the most money out of your professions.. do the two gathering ones. Herbalism and Mining. There is literally an unlimited amount of supply and an impressively similar amount of demand.

Likewise, if you just choose one of the gathering skills choose a crafting profession that undoubtedly goes hand in hand.

True. I was just thinking of that and mining + jewelcrafting.

Yeah I'd definetly say that Mining+JC is the most lucrative of profession combos. Everyone has the potential to get gear with sockets, without much commitment, and thanks to the theorycrafter's everyone is bound to re-gem. The same can't be said for Herb/Alch. Not everyone raids, thus not everyone needs pots/oils.

I used to make bank back in the day, doing Adamantite Runs around the Sunwell Plateau.

Hahaha... back in the day.

Tailoring WAS good, for making bags, those 20 slot bags were going for 300g+.. but now on our server at least, they are selling at 100g each.. which isn't worth it, considering the mats it takes to make them..

The best way to make money with tailoring, imo, is to sell the cloth itself.. Frostweave sells for about 20g a stack on the AH right now... considering Tailors get the extra frostweave gathering ability (we may get 3-5 pieces off a mob, where non-tailors only get 1-2) you can farm the cloth pretty fast.. I just hit 425 tailoring myself, so I have used all my cloth to make stuff.. Just got my epic flying carpet last night WOOT!!! But once I get my tailoring to 450 or so, and work on my first aid, I will definately be selling those stacks of cloth for quick profit.

Funny you should say that, someone put a raid together at 2am and we killed all of them for the free mount. :p

Yeah i did em all before the achievement was out i need to go back and do it now especially since u get a mount its not like would be rare or anything at least on our realm a TON have done it already even tho it fun to imagine what people think seeing like 80+horde running into their city

So my brother finally broke down and joined the game (again, after not playing for nearly as long as I've been in game).

However, instead of playing on my crowded home server he decided to join a different server with his friends and wanted me to play with him.

I can't believe I'm saying this but 3 1/2 years playing this game and I've never, ever played a druid.

That changed as soon as I went to the server where my brother and I are playing.

A photo taken of us after I got my aquatic form last night.

As far as how I'm liking druid:

I'm loving it. I absolutely love the versatility of the class and the ability to choose what form you want to be in and when. I can't wait until 20 to get my cat form.

The one thing I don't like is trudging all over creation to get said transforms, but I understand why you have to do it so it moots that complaint.

Bonus Armor: The mechanics for items with bonus armor on them has changed (any cloth, leather, mail, or plate items with extra armor, or any other items with any armor). Bonus armor beyond the base armor of an item will no longer be multiplied by any talents or by the bonuses of Bear Form, Dire Bear Form, or Frost Presence.

Can someone explain what this means to my bear form?!
