As it should be. Although it sucks right now, in future raids he or she will potentially bring more to the raid thanks to previous loot winnings.

Its good for him thats for sure, but in the heroic you need around 1600 dps for everybody in order to down him before he enrages. So it sucks in the sense that he didn't pull his own weight but was rewarded for it.

I wouldnt have minded if that happened to me, im fine with my current gear and i dont even have epics :p

Depends on the person. Seen people in full greens/blues due 900dps and have seen that same person in heroic blues/naxx 10 epics barely break 1k dps. When you suck, you suck.

It sucked because of the 4 warriors in the raid, 2 were tanks. One's dps was 900 and the others was 2k, and the one with 900 dps won the most stuff lol

I hope those dps warriors were mostly kara geared. 900 DPS is terrible @ 80. I could do 800 just by autoswinging as protection.

Nope level 80, in quests greens and blues. It's to the point now where I'm not taking anyone who isn't a friends alt or such who can't do 1500 at least in heroics.

I finally created a Blood Elf Death Knight and I'm loving it. Questing for superior gear was pretty fun. I'm only lvl 58 and I already do more damage than my lvl 62 Orc Hunter.

Adam or anyone who has done RAF. How'd ya'll do it? Just run two copies and have the second account on /follow while you killed ****? Or should I look into keyclone for some basic, "press one cast fireball" attacks and what not and how hard would that be to setup?

I think keyclone would only be useful if you're rolling 2 of the same class. Otherwise it might be pretty hard. Since I rolled a mage/shaman, I played the mage and had the shaman follow around. This was done with 2 clients on the same computer.

What is up with all these DKs that think they can run an instance as DPS and roll on Tank gear and vice-versa? They need to get hit with the nerf stick bad. I can't run as dps as a protection paladin. ****ing bull****.

Uhhhh... maybe they plan on re-specing? Always gotta be 1.

That's what I was figuring on doing, just use the main control toon kill everything and the other guy there just to leech xp/level to gift some of my other toons to 60.

So... I'm back. I couldn't stay away. 8 or 9 days ago I started the free 10-day WotLK trial and I'm loving the DK.

I had my 70 on Burning Legion, so I started a DK, but that server's so full that I kept getting kicked into a queue when trying to log in. I decided to grab my 52 ret pally on Tanaris and just level him to 55 ASAP and realized how much more fun the pallies are now, with all the changes with 3.0. I still started a new DK on that server anyway, but I have a feeling I'm not done with my pallies.

I'm currently 62, full blood spec. I'll probably branch out to the other trees to grab a couple useful talents. It's just so fun to play this guy.

I'll restart my sub once the trial is over.

i am enjoying Lich king for the most part. I am getting tired of my guild making fun of me for how long it takes me to lvl to 80 from 70 lol. I am currently 75 and slowly working up the next lvl . I do not try to rush my lvling i go slow i look at all of the scenery and i enjoy the game for what it is. Grizzly hills is also one of the most beautiful places i have ever seen in a video game. however from what i hear that are much better places yet to come in lich king that i have not gotten too yet. I think they did an amazing job making the game look amazing and the design of this game is much more details than the previous expansion.

^ How the hell are you leveling backwards? ;)

Hes not. ;)

edit: beaten twice :(

It hasn't been long enough. It has to be 90 days, right? My account expired on November 10th. (I stopped playing about a month and a half before that, but I didn't cancel it until after the Oct 10th payment.)

I started out blood but re'd to unholy. Any opinion on which 1 is better?

I haven't tried anything but blood, so I can't really compare, but blood does massive DPS and also has quite a few useful healing skills as well. I rarely go under 80% health while fighting multiple mobs simply because my combat heals me. I can mark a certain mob to heal for 4% of my max health every time it attacks, which is very useful for bosses in instances. I can spawn a second floating weapon that copies every attack I do for 10-20 seconds... It's all really useful and extremely fun.

This is my build: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-talents...mp;n=Katastrofi

I don't claim to be a master of talent builds or anything... I just went with whatever I thought sounded good and so far it's worked out pretty well. I took out the 63 elite rock flayer when I was only level 60, so that's got to stand for something :p

EDIT: And I'm actually 63... Forgot I leveled during Ramps last night.

I'm unbelievably happy and excited.

My guild ran through Drak'Tharon Keep and the Troll Butcherer dropped for me:

Troll Butcherer

Two-Handed Sword

3.10 Speed

352 - 528 Damage

(141.9 damage per second)

Durability 100 / 100

Requires Level 74

Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 85.

Equip: Increases attack power by 120.

Plus it looks amazing:

^- Granted I'm not a gnome, but it still looks as awesome. :)

    • Microsoft finally admits its default Windows 11 25H2, 24H2 action broke key legacy component by Sayan Sen Microsoft last week released Windows 11 KB5094126 and KB5093998 as the latest Patch Tuesday updates. Following that the company also published the accompanying dynamic updates under KB5094149, KB5095971, and KB5094156. So far the company has acknowledged two known issues that have popped up after the release which include bugged-out Office apps as well as the Recycle Bin; though there could be more at play too. Speaking of bugs and issues, Microsoft seems to have finally acknowledged a problem that probably has been around for close to a year. That's because back in July of 2025 the company made a default change to the latest Windows 11 versions, wherein it switched to JScript9Legacy on Windows 11 24H2 and later releases. Hence following the release of version 25H2 in October 2025, JScript9Legacy also remained default-enabled. As a result there has been a compatibility issue ever since then. For those wondering, by switching to JScript9Legacy Microsoft intended to improve the security of modern Windows PCs by reducing vulnerabilities tied to legacy scripting like cross-site scripting (XSS), among others. XSS exploits can allow cyber-attackers to attach malicious code onto legitimate websites and use them to execute the code when a potential victim loads such a website. Hence the new JScript9Legacy engine enforced stricter execution policies and improved object handling, which should help mitigate such attacks. Microsoft today has published a new support article detailing the problem. Neowin spotted it while browsing. The company says that JScript global definitions and execution context may fail to persist across scripts, potentially breaking older dependent apps and web-based components that relied on this legacy behavior. In the article Microsoft has confirmed that the issue stems from its move away from the older jscript9.dll engine in favor of jscript9legacy.dll. As mentioned above, while the newer engine was designed to address vulnerabilities and strengthen security it also changes how JScript handles execution context. As a result functions and definitions loaded by one script could no longer remain available to subsequent scripts once execution ended. The company notes that some applications worked correctly on earlier Windows versions because the older JScript engine automatically retained global definitions and execution state between scripts. Under the newer model though that behavior is disabled by default causing certain legacy workloads and polyfill-dependent scripts to fail. Microsoft says it addressed the problem via the KB5077241 update though the fix had not been enabled automatically in the following updates. As such admins must explicitly turn on persistent JScript execution context using a Registry setting that the tech giant shared today. The configuration can be applied to individual processes or system-wide through the FEATURE_ENABLE_PERSISTENCE registry key. The steps have been outlined below: Run the following command to create the feature control registry key: reg add "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_ENABLE_PERSISTENCE" Under this key, create a new DWORD (32-bit) value. Configure the value as follows: To enable persistence for specific processes only: Set the value to 1 for each target process name. To enable persistence for all processes: Add * as the key name and set its value to 1. You can find the official support article here on Microsoft's website.

    • VidCoder 12.20 by Razvan Serea VidCoder is a DVD/Blu-ray ripping and video transcoding application for Windows. It uses HandBrake as its encoding engine. Calling directly into the HandBrake library gives it a more rich UI than the official HandBrake Windows GUI. VidCoder can rip DVDs but does not defeat the CSS encryption found in most commercial DVDs. You’ll need the NET 8 Desktop Runtime. If you don’t have it, VidCoder will prompt you to download and install it. The Portable version is self-contained and does not require any .NET Runtime to be installed. You do not need to install HandBrake for VidCoder to work. Feature list: Multi-threaded MP4, MKV containers Completely integrated encoding pipeline: everything is in one process and no huge intermediate temporary files H.264, H.265, MPEG-4, MPEG-2, VP8, Theora video Hardware-accelerated encoding with AMD VCE, Nvidia NVENC and Intel QuickSync AAC, MP3, Vorbis, AC3, FLAC audio encoding and AAC/AC3/MP3/DTS/DTS-HD passthrough Target bitrate, size or quality for video 2-pass encoding Decomb, detelecine, deinterlace, rotate, reflect, chroma smooth, colorspace filters Powerful batch encoding with simultaneous encodes Customizable Pickers to automatically pick audio and subtitle tracks, destination, titles and more Instant source previews Creates small encoded preview clips Pause, resume encoding VidCoder 12.20 changes: Updated HandBrake core to 1.11.2.
