Recommended Posts

All of my GMAIL accounts now have 2050 mb so i think it's stopping but the counter on gmail.com is still going up :s

Yeh its going up by 100kb/s every 2-3 seconds and it use to go to 10kb/s every second, apparently we will get 2.75mb - 3mb more on our gmail accounts each day, so in a year we will have 3GB :)

Lol Gmail owns Hotmail so much :p 2.05GB for free, and pop access, 10mb file attachments and rich text formatting :woot:

Wow! especially the bit on..

Google needs a massive amount of storage. This week, Google said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it would boost its investment in storage and servers to around US$500 million, a 50-percent jump from last year.

Next I hope they upgrade file attacments to 100mb - that would proper own :cool:?:DD

Agreed...

Hell knows what else google has lined up (messenger, browser etc). I wonder how things stay so secret at google.

Also, is it only me who noticed the Google Ride Finder> in google labs.

It shows you the actual position of taxis in the US (i'm guessing they use GPS or summint).

The Gmail storage counter will stop at 2075MB :no: :(

var CP = [
[ 1112331600000, 1025 ],
[ 1112439600000, 2050 ],
[ 1113062400000, 2075 ]
];

Hint: View Page Source... ;)

It will hit 2075MB on 10 April 2005! :blink:

After 750,000 seconds or 208.(3) hours or 8.(6) days from 2 April 2005 :sleep:

Those are the points i think that it slows down?

Cos its slowed at 2050 so at 2075 it'll slow down like hell :yes:

585714094

I don't think so... because initial storage was 1000MB...

Maybe those are points were it will stop...

First time, it was a faster increase to 1025MB, then a slow one to 2050 and it will end at 2075...

,Apr 2 2005, 14:11]oh well, spoiled my fun...i thought we would have an extra GB by next year, oh well :(.  but i'm happy with 2075MB :) ...if only the attachment limit would be increased......

585714171

Sorry... Maybe I'm wrong... :cry:

I want the attachment to be increased too...

You can make a suggestion to Google at https://services.google.com/inquiry/gmail_suggest/

BTW: Now Gmail works with Opera 8.0 too :)

It is gonna stop at 2075mb probably, and google will manually add storage on, as if you put your system clock a year forward it says 2075 megabytes (and counting).

God this 2050mb -> 2075mb is awkward when you know what its gonna be :(

    • Any decent ITSM will A) have a web form that allows a user to raise a ticket, if you're writing an email you can write a ticket. B) Monitor a mailbox and auto-generate tickets based on inbound mails for those users that really can't get their heads around the concept that if you have an issue you go to support.mycompany.com and fill in the box. From your description you're having users email the desk, and then having a human read each one and manually raise a ticket on behalf of the user.

    • I've never even heard of this browser before seeing this article. How does it differ from other browsers?
    • Fixing things? Have you ever tried linux? Everything works out of the box nowadays in most common hardware. This includes Wifi and Bluetooth. If anything, if they return back to windows is because they haven't found an equivalent program which often used on windows.
