i take tripple :D i think it is more officially called seperate science. Basically you just get seperate grades for biology, chemistry and physics. 9 lessons of science a week was a drag, monday morning i had 4 science lessons in a row!

i have left:

chemistry

English paper 2 (2moz)

Physics

RE (god that subject is useless. Me and longpot have never done a page of work or listened and we dont revise for it at all. and where still expecting A's in it!!!)

Business paper 2 and 6

electonics paper 4

French reading

Anyone else agree about RE?

strange, iv known people from private schools. people going into special classes because they are too smart, A* students who just take the double award science. Never herd of tripple award. Maybe most schools think its pointless to do that many, which i agree, too much work would be involved.

Ditto to that, it's a crazy subject

All I need to know are basic facts like what they believe and the rest is my opinion, or interpretation of what they think about it. I just make it all up off the top of my head and I'm still predicted an A :woot:

yeah triple science does exist, im doing it lol, but also i do go to a grammar school which have higher standards so they expect us to take all higher, this is a greater challenge, which i think does bring out the better in you, if you show enough commitment to a subject you will do well. take my French for example, i got a D in the mocks, and now doing the real thing, ive been predicted A , only because i showed that commitement to do well!

well not really, Triple science is so much better if your choosing to do a particular science for A level , and in my case, im doing all three (along with maths) so to have three seperate qualifications for the sciences better highlights your ability in each subject than double science

well basically it again depends on two things, what school your going to and what exam board you are doing

the one that im doing is split up into philosophy and ethics, and is a real challenge, and to say that it is a doss (for us) would be a lie, you need 96% for an A *, so the challenge is clear. No coursework, 2 exams, 2 hours each. The exam is tough, 2 hours of solid writing, and in my case i wrote 14 pages, so its not a doss if you take it as a serious subject, and brings some much needed education about different religions and cultures, so people are better educated to know that we shouldnt be doing sh*t like racism and the rest of it. its much more than just the grade at the end, you can apply what you have learnt in the wider world

yeh but there always easy... just write what ever the hell you think! did mine went fine :) i did questions 1 and 5.

in 5 i had 2 describe a nightmareish place so i described a journey to hell :D nice and evil. question 1 i compared blessing and night of the scorpion, picked those because at first glance one is good n one is bad... but a deeper look shows they both hav good and bad... in blessing all there water supply has gon 4 months so in the end its bad and in night of the scorpion its kinda good because it takes away all her darker desires, makes the pain of her next birth (reincarnation) less than this one and then in the end the womany says shes glad its he not her children... wat did you lot do?

I did one and five as well. I compared Blessing to the Scavs In A Truck one. Then I wrote about a nightmare place, it had these little green monsters lol!

Ok, i took triple science and it is hard but well worth it. You learn loads more and get to do some really cool experiments. I dont see how it is extra work because its an option so you would do a simliar amount if you took say history instead. I also did question 5 on my english paper, i basicly wrote the storyline to doom 3! Electronics isnt that bad, its just the stupid D&T coursework for it thats hard. The actuall electronics is quite easy.

i'm sorry, i think that's a bit of an ignorant and foundation-less comment (no pun intended). how would you know unless you've done it?

i go to the same school as Omarhussain. we both do triple. in fact out of over 180 people in out year, only 20 do double. triple is much better than double for people that can handle the work. there isn't "too much" work involved, just more.

the triple material isn't any harder, there's just more. if you have the right attitude, you can do it. most schools, especially comprehensive, don't do it because they feel that the majority would not have the determination to do that little extra work. in our school, however, it's the opposite, with most people willing to do more to get 3 GCSEs, giving a massive amount of scope for A Level and beyond.

    • I have a older F4-210 NAS, it is pretty basic, the CPU is not the fastest by a long way and only 1GB of ram, but it works fine. I don't understand the need for A.I in a NAS. It seems like A.i is being shoved into everything, if we like it or not. i will stick to my old Terramsater NAS, thankfully the OS is not being updated. Also, got myself a small NAs built using a Raspberry Pi 5. iy usesd less energy, so stays on all the time. As for the unit above, if it is as reliable as my old Terramaster Nas, then it will be a good unit.
    • Gemini in Google Sheets can now help you debug and fix formula errors by David Uzondu Google has started rolling out an update to Gemini in Google Sheets that allows the AI to diagnose and fix formula errors in one click, as long as your Workspace admin has Gemini for Workspace in Sheets turned on. According to Google, the new feature can handle pretty much everything from basic arithmetic to very complex calculations. This ability to debug formula errors comes about two years after Google introduced basic formula generation with Gemini in Sheets. To create a formula with Gemini in Sheets, you open a spreadsheet on your computer and click Ask Gemini in the top right corner. You can also enter an equals sign in any cell and use a shortcut like Ctrl + Alt + G on Windows and Chrome OS, or Command + Ctrl + G on macOS. Once you open the side panel, you write a natural language prompt using your sheet references. For example, you can ask Gemini to divide goals by games, or to find cell C1 in range D:G. If for some reason, the formula Gemini generated doesn't work, or maybe you wrote the formula yourself, you can troubleshoot the issue directly inside the grid. When a cell shows an error message, you hover over it and click "Fix". This action opens the side panel where Gemini analyzes the data structure and automatically applies the fixes when they are ready. You can cancel the process at any time by clicking stop in the side panel. Image via Google Google has been pushing its Gemini integration in Google Sheets for a while now, steadily moving AI features from side panels directly into user spreadsheets. Last year, the Mountain View giant shipped an =AI() Function in Sheets that allowed users to run translation and text generation directly inside cells instead of using the side panel interface. Earlier this year, the company announced that Gemini in Sheets had reached near-human expert performance, achieving a 70.48% success rate on the SpreadsheetBench dataset.

Maybe in the U.S, they can link them, but Privacy is not a thing in the U.S. the way things are going,l won;t be any better in the U.K.

    • Exactly, this is just the beginning. I hope that by that time, our inept politicians devise something like a Universal Basic Income, because unemployment and poverty rates will skyrocket otherwise. And believe me, robots that perform physical work aren't a matter of IF, but WHEN. No career is truly safe from AI/robots, it's just a matter of time.
