14-0 and the #2 team in the nation. Did someone want to question if Florida was for real?

What about WV? We're a 3 loss that has taken down two top 10 teams (ran a clinic on Oklahoma and beat 'Nova, both away games). We choked in the final seconds against Texas and didn't exactly play well in the pity match against Kentucky. LSU is good too (they almost beat UConn as well).

This year will be a good year for college hoops. Can't wait for March!

I give WV credit. THey should be ranked higher, however I think Florida deserves a lot of respect. Best start in school history.

Why was Indiana beating the Illini by 2 such an upset? The Hoosier fans acted like they were unranked and just took down an undefeated. Hell, even I figured the Illini would lose on the road in Hoosier country. Indiana is a great team and is going to be a phenomenal team come March.

However, I wish the Illini would get some foul calls like that at home.

that was a hell of a comeback by the illini, i really thought they were gonna pull it off at the end. i think the big 10 is looking pretty good this year though, msu, illinois and IU all are playing well.

Yup Big Ten and Big East teams that make it to the tourney should do well considering the insane competition they'll be facing within their conferences this year.

Good games tonite, Big Blue upsets the Spartans, Seton Hall (who lost 93-40 to Duke) take out no. 14 NC state, Illinois takes Minnesota to the woodshed...Big Ten = toughest conference in the nation.

That's debatable. While i think the Big Ten is killer the Big East is just as tough, if not tougher. I personally believe the latter. Anyway, should be grueling for teams in both conferences and gut-wrenching for fans. I think the Big East can squeeze 8 teams into the tourney while the Big Ten will get 7. We'll see how it pans out but that's my personal oppinion.

Pertaining to whether the Big Ten or Bi East is better, I think you have to look at the teams at the bottom, not the top. The Big Ten only has 1 team with an overall losing record, the Big East has 2. The Big Ten has a higher percentage of ranked teams than the Big East does (46% Big Ten vs. 38% of Big East). The Big Ten's home winning percentage is staggering as well.

Illini are 90-3 at home since '99. Last I heard Ann Arbor was a ######.

does anyone else feel like all Duke does is run up the score? Tonight for example, they were winning by 20 and they still had Redick-ulous and Williams out on the floor bombing 3's...I don't feel that his 30+ point performances are that great, especially considering how they play. (Meanwhile the commentators go on and on about how Duke is such a "class act" as a program and how JJ only takes good shots that his offense creates for him...blah...blah..freakin' blah. If you ask me they have to always run up the score because someone has self-esteem issues.) Regarding Bilas' pick to have co-players of the year, IMO, Morrison is a better pick.

The great minds at ESPN also commentated on how depth (or Duke's lack of) doesn't really matter when it comes to the Big Dance...does anyone else think that is majorly retarded?

everything espn says regarding duke is retarded. thats to be expected.

just wanna give props to the wolverines. back to back wins against michigan state and wisconsin, both top 25 teams. hpoefullyh these wins will up us make the tourney this year.

The Big East beats up on each other in basketball, kind of the same way the Big Ten does in football. That would explain bad records, rankings [because people are obviously bias, you can't deny it], and home advantage means nothing in the Big East granted the competition. Top the bottom, its the best. You might have a few dominate teams in the Big Ten, but that hardly constitutes a dominate conferance.

Yeah, I don't really understand that. Hasn't history shown (and proven) that you need good production off the bench during the tournament to make a quality, deep run. Look at Arizona last year. They had a badass starting 5 with Salim Stoudamire, Hassan Adams, and Channing Frye leading the way. Well, Stoudamire flat out ran out of gas in the championship against Illinois and nobody on the Zona bench was capable of coming in and providing enough help. Meanwhile, Illinois could bring in 3-deep off the bench and get some quality minutes.

From what I've seen of Duke this year (3 games) I don't think they can make a big run in the tournament even with Redick launching 40+. Of course, the NCAA tournament never goes as planned and is the one playoff system that is damn near impossible to figure (which makes it the best post-season event in ANY sport). After watching tonights Texas-Oklahoma game, I'm really liking Oklahoma right now. If they can get Taj Gray to play that hard night and night out, they have a chance to make an impact. And going back to the depth factor, this is also the reason UConn is the team to beat. They've got so many weapons and they can bring in guys off the bench to provide a lift.

Of course, the Gators will win it all though :)

    • Telltale returns with The Wolf Among Us, re-revealing the sequel and a new remaster by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Telltale Games, the studio known for its episodic games from the 2000s, had a surprise appearance at the Summer Game Fest showcase today. The studio has gone through a collapse, an acquisition, and a revival but has largely gone silent in recent years. Today's sudden announcement was for the popular The Wolf Among Us series, with news about the sequel and a remaster dropping. Set after the events of the 2013-released title, the sequel will bring back Biby Wolf for a new adventure in Fabletown. This town of fairy tale characters is becoming unstable, with Snow White not being able to keep order as before. "When a brutal series of crimes threatens to fracture the fragile balance holding Fabletown together, Bigby Wolf, sheriff of Fabletown, finds himself drawn into a dangerous conspiracy that reaches deep into the city’s criminal underworld," says the studio. "As suspicion spreads across the city and powerful forces work against him, Bigby must uncover the truth and decide what kind of sheriff - and what kind of wolf - he is willing to become." At the same time, Telltale also announced The Wolf Among Us Remastered, bringing back the classic with a fresh coat of paint. This will include all five episodes from the original game plus over an hour of extra content that will offer behind-the-scenes videos, cast interviews, image galleries, and deleted scenes. The remaster will also have updated visuals and improved UI elements and accessibility features, alongside upgrades to the animations, audio, and frame rates. Telltale has been working on this project for almost a decade now, but if the new release schedule holds, fans will be able to jump into The Wolf Among Us 2 sometime in 2027. As for The Wolf Among Us Remastered, this is slated to release during this holiday season.

    • Alien Isolation 2 will bring a new protagonist and setting, watch the reveal trailer here by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Only a few weeks ago, Sega and Creative Assembly dropped a teaser for a new Alien Isolation. Today at Summer Game Fest, Alien: Isolation 2 was officially announced with a new trailer while also confirming a whole lot of information about the setting of this survival horror project. Check out the reveal trailer above. Leaving behind the Sevastopol space station, the sequel will take players to a remote colony world. With a Xenomorph (or more) on the loose, players will be navigating both the surface of the weather-ravaged planet as well as "the claustrophobic confines of the Weyland-Yutani outpost of Kurosaki Station." Interestingly, Creative Assembly is leaving behind Amanda Ripley, the daughter of Alien's Ellen Ripley, as the protagonist too. While it hasn't confirmed a name yet, players will be taking the role of a new character for this new adventure. The setting is also being described as a new hunting ground for the Alien. This will have players improvising and developing new tools to aid in their survival and escape, all to avoid "cinema’s deadliest killer." "It has been over a decade since we created the original Alien: Isolation and I am so excited to show everyone the first glimpse of the sequel," says Al Hope, Creative Director at Creative Assembly. "Our dedicated Survival team at Creative Assembly has been working hard to create a new, evolved Isolation experience continuing the legacy of the Alien franchise, making the eponymous killer smarter, the environment harsher and the chance of survival slimmer." Promising the same deadly tension from the original from over a decade ago, Alien: Isolation 2 is in development for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. A release date has not been announced yet.

    • Like the article stated, it's written completely from scratch, unlike the umpteen Chromium clones. It got its start as the browser built-in to the also written-from-scratch SerenityOS.
