Gmail account is OK.

You still need to login to the Passport account when you Accept the Invite.

you have to right click anb dview source and then go to View>Find In This Page> Type "Accept" and it will highlight the url

Anyone else run into this problem?

1) Got an invite from Microsoft to beta test WLM

2) Download and install..a memory hog but works for almost a week

3) Try logging in yesterday and I get a message box telling me that my account is not allowed to run the beta

4) Got ****ed off and reinstalled 7.5

WTF ???

it worked from the beginning of the beta for me and then i got the same message a while ago

but now i use gilly messenger, it rocks

Hurrah, got my Windows Live Messenger Beta invite from MS this morning!!!

Installed and runnin all ok!!!

They must be sending new invites out!

I got my invite from microsoft this morning as well!

does any one know if we will be getting a number of invites ourselves and when we'll get them?

They sent it to my yahoo account, but it didn't sign me up, but when I signed in with my hotmail account it joined?!?!?!

I got my beta invite from MS, started downloading and it stopped half way through. I restarted the download a few times but it didn't work so I gave up. Then I went back to the sign in page, tried logging in and now it says "Bad URL" :(

As I received my invite from someone on here I am offering my last 3 invites for LIVE MESSENGER to people on Neowin. PM me but beware, people who signed up just to get an invite will not be given them... If anyone has something to trade that would be nice, but not necessary...

I got an invite a few hours ago and to be honest anybody with 7.5 may as well not bother with 8

I can't see what the fuss is about it's practically the same.

I'm trying to send feedback on Windows Live Messenger.

I've logged into Connect but Windows Live Messenger doesn't appear to be listed there. As others have reported, the "Send Feedback" link from the client doesn't work.

Can someone please confirm how I can go about sending feedback?

Only first gen tester can post bugs on connect, if you didn't get an InviteID for connect you cannot post bugs on it, then if you are an offical tester click WLM8, then on the left there is a button submit feedback
