Your Windows Experience Index rating!

Here's mine:

Don't know how Brandon got a higher CPU score than me since it's the same processor (unless it's OC'd in some way). :p

If you look at the pic above his experience index break down it says his cpu is running at 3.21GHz which would bump up his processor rating.

5.3... Held back by the CPU. :p

If I try to show details for printing, I get the same message as the person above me.

I don't know why, it has worked before too.

CPU: 5.3, Core 2 Duo E6600

RAM: 5.5, 2GB in parallel mode, regular PC5300

Gfx: 5.9, Geforce 8800GTS @ 640 MB RAM

Games: 5.9

Drive: 5.8, 1x Samsung 500 GB SATA, 1x Maxtor 160 GB SATA

hi

I always thougt that my hard drive was the weakest component of my system ....

But not according to Vista.

Processor: Pentium 4, 3Ghz Prescott (hyperthreading, hot)

RAM: 1Gb + 256 Mb i.e 1.25 Gb . Not a known brand.

Graphic card: ATI 9800 PRO (128 Mb of RAM, 256 bits version)

Hard disk: Seagate , 200 Gb.

Anyway, I think I'm gonna switch back to XP .

Too much headaches, with the new interface, and cannot even use directory opus.

The sound sucks! I have soundmax built in my motherboard. P4C800-E

Sorry, visual experience is not everything ...

Also, I have the option between cleartype & no anti-alising for the fonts . Where's the standard font smoothing gone ? Sorry I don't like cleartype, and on my LCD (Samsung SyncMaster 173P) , standard smoothing is just better.

In the picture don't be surprised if there's a comma instead of point (french used for metrics, etc...)

    • What they really need to do is automatically spell "loses" and "lose" correctly since nobody seems to know how to anymore. Then they blame spellcheck/autocomplete and don't realize autocomplete is just filling in the word for them automatically so it was misspelled in the first place.
    • If someone chooses to continue using SB and therefore goes through the manual intervention in the thread, afterwards the BSOD problem is gone. Whether they then re-enable the task doesn't matter, they're done, though on such machines it might pay to keep it disabled in case the next update (if there is a next) causes the same problem. OTOH, if someone disables SB in the BIOS, the problem is also gone. Incidentally, I noticed that this task exists even on machines that don't support SB. It's just installed across the board...and runs. Doing what on such machines is a little hazy.
