As his band prepared to embark on a tour of Europe, Miller boarded a flight to Paris on December 15, 1944 to make preparatory arrangements for the rest of his group. Sadly, the transport on which Miller was a passenger disappeared over the English Channel and was never recovered. The disappearance of Miller?s aircraft may have been caused by bad weather. However, records also suggest that bombs, jettisoned by Allied bombers returning from an aborted mission, may have inadvertently struck the plane. Even after Glenn Miller?s disappearance, his army band continued to play for troops, performing up until August 1945, at which time the group returned to New York and its members were discharged.

I've tried a lot of words and dates, but to no avail.

One of AMD processors was named Odessa :D

I believe it has more to do with the Oddessa Files, in the way some nazzis vanished after the war ...

ODESSA (German: Organisation der ehemaligen SS-Angeh?rigen, "Organization of Former SS-Members")

Just a thought ...

Noting that the poster in 'Backstage' spells Glenn with one 'n' (Glen), I've directed my investigation towards Glen Island Casino where Miller played a lot.

"FORTY-FIVE years ago - on May 17, 1939 - Glenn Miller and his orchestra began a three-month engagement at the Glen Island Casino. During that stint, the orchestra burst into a popularity that became so universal and lasting that today, 40 years after the leader's death in 1944, the Glenn Miller Orchestra is still touring the world 50 weeks of every year."

Last puzzle..."A MATTER OF PERSPECTIVE" was the name of a Star Trek: The Next Generation episode (Episode #62 to be exact)

Sulu's actor's name is on a sign in the Space Needle. I think his name is George Takei or something?

It's been 2 and a half hours! AUGH! Wish my Dad could have sucked it up and driven me, then I'd have pictures for ALL of us. (Under 18, signed up with my Mom, so that way I could still win prizes)
