Definitive Crackdown thread

Recommended Posts

man i cant wait for this update, i love crackdown... im still playing it a few times a week since i got it... trying to get those achievements is damn addictive on this one... still need a few but im getting their :p

I starting trying to get the agility/hidden orbs achievement, but after a while, I didn't think it was worth going through all that just to get a few points on my GS lol. I've got 720 overall for Crackdown, which is enough for me!

May give me a reason to pop the disc into my 360 again. Great game, but man replayability currently doesn't exist.

Agreed. Loved the game, but have not looked back on it in a long time.

Crackdown has so much potential to have awesome replayability.

Also agreed though, they can do so much with this game if they choose to.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I have a quick question.

If I were to buy a pre-owned copy of Crackdown would I still be able to participate in the Halo 3 beta? Is the beta only available to people actually with the Crackdown disc or is it different? If not I'll just buy a new copy it seems fun enough and with the beta aswell it seems worth the money.

Crackdown DLC Preview

If anyone hasn't seen this yet, here's the preview for the upcoming DLC! Watch the videos, this stuff is going to be awesome!

Holy crap that's so much more stuff than I expected it to be. I'll be buying it for sure

_O_ go realtime worlds

* Build a pile of 100 explosive drums at the top of the Agency Tower – then let it rip!

* Spawn a ramp truck anywhere, and it’ll stay there

* Create an agency vehicle or one of the new Peacekeeper vehicles any time, any place

* Players can set character skills however they want them, or just activate the accelerated skill leveling feature (“Crackdown” demo anyone?)

* Check out “Super Agent Agility” to jump ridiculous distances, swim faster than a torpedo and sprint faster than a speeding bullet (almost)

* Try the “Super Agent Strength” to toss a truck with deadly accuracy further than ever dreamt. Boot enemies into the stratosphere!

* Get the most out of the exciting selection of new weaponry by activating infinite ammo. Max out the selection at each supply point too!

* Do all of this without skipping a beat of the action – the pop-up cheat menu is always available during play without pausing the game

can't wait for these cheats, sounds awesome.

cool, the extra DLC will cost 800 mspoints and the stuff will be released over the next week, definately getting it. :w00t:

Wow. Alot of stuff in the DLC for sure, nevermind just in the free update. I am definitely considering getting this.

Shame they are releasing it next week, as seriously, most people who are going to have Crackdown in their drives next week is for one reason and one reason only... Halo 3 Beta

At the moment, the retail game has only 900 gs. There will be another 100 offered by the free update. I read that it's something to do with collecting all the cars and storing them in your car pound. (there may be others achievements)

If you buy the premium pack, you will have the ability to get another 250 gs.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
