How did you find Neowin?

Really thought I posted in this thread, but apparantly I did not.

I have told the story many times and way more detailed, so the short version...

When I built my first custom PC, which was built for the purpose of gaming, my friend that helped me told me about Neowin as he was already a member, and said if I had any questions about anything or wanted to understand things more in depth to post here.

Well, I have a terrible memory and it's been almost 7 years (including being a guest), but I think I was looking for customization stuff for Windows XP when I first found this place. Then I lurked for a while and decided to finally sign up after about a year.

Through a friend's video. When I went to Neowin, I looked at the users who were last active in the last 30 minutes, and was so surprised to see over 1500 people listed.

I had a friend on here so its because of him that I started browsing the site and made an account, it was because of Gamers Hangout and the Halo 3 multiplayer days that I became active (Y)

DL would remember those days, he was the first to join up in a game with me and really made me like Neowin a lot so props to him for being so friendly :yes:

I joined because I kept browsing neowin.net over the years and always wanted to post, after posting I left it for a while and when I came back it became one of my daily viewed sites. I liked neowin because of the friendly people who are willing to help!

Well I met somebody who knew a lot about computers, and I asked him a few questions and he suggested that I go to Neowin, and so I did . He said that mostly everybody is intelligent and knows what they are talking about.

That was awhile back I think ...2000 upwards? Cuz I was here when the September 11th attacks occured, the great desktop customizations began, beta testing of whistler and I remember some old members like Redmak, frieza, 3nd3r and others. Wow...I've been here a pretty long time! :shiftyninja:
