How did you find Neowin?

I really don't remember how I found Neowin back to 2001, I was visiting the site for few years until I finally signed up with my account in 2003.

was just one of the I.T mainly windows enthusiast/news sites i stumbled across through affiliations with sites i used to visit

UTAKZ!!!!!

I found Neowin through my brother..... UTAKZ. As many on this board already know Utakz or Benjimen Lucas died on January 13th 2007 in his apartment of smoke Inhalation...... The Apartment building fire also took the lives of his and my other two siblings ...our sister Angel (17) and brother Quentin (14). I only know that BEn loved to use this site among many other and to share his knowledge of computers to others. Many people associated with this site he considered friends and they also thought well of him. As I read through old blogs and post of yours I noticed the reations of his death among members and how it affected you..... If you knew him I would love for you to contact me. I have had such a hard time with this..... but to know anythign or memories you may have of my brother would mean the world to me.

This newbie found you through one of many links at KezNews.net, another fine forum. Why did I register? What compelled me to give neowin.net tons of personal information? A bit of curiosity mixed with a little masochism, I suppose. Oh, and then there's the "I'm bored!" factor.

googlin the multipatcher thingy for applying visual styles i believe. That provoked me to join neowin right away.. i figured peeps at neowin are real smart and got some cool stuff so I should join the club. and i did :D

Was a member on #Betasirc and someone (Werejag ?) posted a link to Neowin. Looked like a fun place and had lots about the xp beta, has been good times here since :)

I remember browsing Winbeta.org and I think I noticed Neowin.net as a source for one of their articles. The rest is history.

I think through TheTechArea, found the link to Neowin when it was msbetas.org. I found the site round about 2004, but didn't decide to join till later.
