Wow, well what a show SummerSlam was.

By that I mean what a HOUSE show SummerSlam was. Nothing special at all.

Although the Taker match was fun.

Yeah I think Punk winning cleanly was good but other then that it was a big meh.

Mick Foley has agreed to contractual terms with TNA, according to Wade Keller of PWTorch.com. Foley will debut with the company once he is contractually able to do so. His WWE contract expires at the end of August.

big mistake?

Yeah slowly, I still think its pretty crap.

Exactly why WWE Shows are so poor these days, because IMO, TNA are still no where near the competition level that WCW once was and frankly put, it doesn't seem that they will be at that level anytime soon! Add to that, moral is extremely low in the lockeroom what with all the Ex-WWE guys jumping straight into big pushes in TNA.

As much as it is not good for the industry, WWE will be on top, unchallenged, for a long time to come yet... Only when they get decent competition will Vince bother to do anything!

Thanks for that Rappy :)

tnawrestling.com have messed that up a little bit though because in their article, with that image in, it is just that image with text that states "stay tuned for more...". I mean if they are trying to be secretive, I think they have messed up by naming that image "foley.jpg" :/ even though the smiley & slogan is unmistakably Mick Foley lol, they still have messed up I believe.

Yeah if they wanted the surprise don't call the file foley!

Well, Unforgiven...

Great HBK/Jerico match. But what a cheap way to strip the belt from Punk. :(

This pretty much confirms that WWE have no faith in new peeps being champion, Punk should of been given a long run but now they make him lose it so he can feud with Orton when he returns.

Is anybody impacted by the move of Smackdown from UPN to MyNetworkTV? I have Time Warner Cable and I don't think I have it. I do get it over the air, but it's not HD. :( Also, I had USA HD for a few weeks, but they took it off, turns out Time Warner only added it for the Olympics. So I'm going from watching RAW and Smackdown! in HD to both in SD.

    • I can name 10x that on why not to switch.... It's funny outlook/office are going towards web app wrappers, and then MS is now preaching native apps again.... ugh can we just pick a lane and stay in it
    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
