I think he's probably losing it this weekend, to make an impact at UK Takeover

It crossed my mind, but I'm not sure they're willing to pull the trigger on Joe Coffey. He hasn't quite clicked as a heel, and the whole Gallus stable is pretty meh. Not the individuals, though (Wolfgang, for example, had a good heel run as ICW world champion). Joe definitely works better as a face, even when he's up against one of the biggest babyfaces around...

They're definitely gonna try and make an impact at Takeover Blackpool, but I reckon it'll be through Toni Storm dethroning Rhea Ripley (who is a bonza heel, by the way; she has a hell of a career ahead of her).

That main event was INSANE! and the reveal after...even better!

WALTER ist angekommen!

I'm so glad they've kept his theme from the indies; one of the benefits of using classical/public domain music right there.

He's already cracking out the chops, too...

Heh, that was pretty good. Also, Kairi Sane is awesome. I haven't seen much of her, but her English seems alright and she certainly can "act" as it were. Plus, she's awesome in the ring. I hope when they call her up to the main roster they don't screw her up like they have with Asuka (even if she is the champ right now). Personally I'd love to see a match between Sane and Asuka. Since they both come from Japanese wrestling work - I think they would be incredible in the ring together in WWE. But, WWE will just screw it up probably.

Oh and Beth Phoenix still looks amazing and should still be wrestling. Such an underappreciated worker who was in WWE at the wrong time. Imagine the matches we'd have right now if she wrestled. :(

I doubt it, I think Cena is legit hurt for this one. I mean, I wouldn't put it past WWE to do a swerve of course, but there's a lot going on right now for the PPV, so a Cena surprise on the day they said he couldn't wrestle just doesn't make much sense in the end.

    • No Steam release. It's gonna fail on PC. Even an Epic Online engineer said that people go there for the free stuff and then immediately go back to Steam.
    • Nice. Admittedly, his other games never interested me, but this seems pretty cool.
    • It's time to say goodbye to Edge and switch back to Firefox. There's no way to disable the ugly rounded corners that appear everywhere. Not even on the page frame. No one uses screens with rounded corners, you idiots.
    • Being on Github makes it more trustable since I can see the code at any point.
    • Gen Atlas is the next game from Shadow of the Colossus creator, this time with giant robots by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The mind behind widely well-received games like Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian, Fumito Ueda, showed up at Summer Game Fest today, and that was to reveal his latest project. Being developed by genDESIGN, Gen Atlas is incoming with what looks to be plenty of mech and robot action. Watch the reveal trailer, which makes not much sense, above. The game will have players waking up on an abandoned planet where deserted facilities and grand designs from the original creators remain. Soon, they will stumble upon a colossal robot, from which players gain access to the power to change the world. "Across an endless expanse of time, the remnants of those forgotten constructs begin to move once more," adds the studio. The gameplay snippets seen in the trailer show the player character climbing giant robots (as expected from the creator), while also controlling these titans somehow as well. This is a fully single-player open-world adventure. “The team and I are grateful to all the fans who’ve been eager to learn more about our game,” says Fumito Ueda, CEO and creative director of genDESIGN. “Their passion and enthusiasm has always motivated and inspired us. We hope to share an experience that inspires moments of quiet wonder and discovery.” Before gaining the name Gen Atlas, Ueda first announced this project back in 2024 with the codename Project Robot. Interestingly, this will be a project being funded and published by Epic Games, which should mean that a Steam release is out of the question. Gen Atlas will be releasing on Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. A release date has not been announced just yet.
