WhoTheF
I have always wanted to learn how to make the background kinda blurry - just like what you did with this pic I have one of those basic Sony Cybershots cam and I was wondering if there is anyway I could do that on there? Nevertheless, nice pictures.
o0moonman0o
turn ur macro mode on and go in towards ur subject and make sure u have quite some distance between the subject and the bg. these kinda blur is easier to do with dslr cuz the aperture is larger for dslr lens
BajiRav
Long exposure + shaky hands = still pretty good.

Stand back, zoom in, and allow for greater distance between the subject and the background ;)

xplatinum
Here's a quick picture I took while at my parent's house. The cat wouldn't stop moving !! I was testing my new 50mm f/1.4 Nikon Lens. Second pic is just to show the sharpness at 100% of 3131x2096. Should have used a wider aperture to have more of his face in focus.
WhoTheF
turn ur macro mode on and go in towards ur subject and make sure u have quite some distance between the subject and the bg. these kinda blur is easier to do with dslr cuz the aperture is larger for dslr lens Stand back, zoom in, and allow for greater distance between the subject and the background ;) Thanks guys, but I am a lil confused now. Do you go close to the subject or stand far? Edit: I am sorry guys, I have no idea about photography. I just figured out how to go about it. I am having a little difficulty with people and macro's, but hopefully I get better. I use Sony DSC-W5 - inherited from my brother. I don't really use camera's but I just realized how much I like macro's :D. Thanks for all the help. Edited April 24, 2008 by WhoTheF

DrBroccoli
Meh, not much around other than the blooming flowers, so I just snapped a few to kill some time: Some some random shots of my shoes, they didn't really come out how I planned, so I did some creative post processing on them:

DrBroccoli
It wouldn't let me edit my older post, so here's a newer version of an older shot, the post processing on the other one was crappy.
