Boy Decapitated at Six Flags Amusement Park

I disagree with the mistake bit. And I'd also like to point out that nobody drinking with me drives afterwards. I see to that. If someone drinks and drives and ****s themself up, they had it coming and I can't be bothered to feel too badly for them - it's not acceptable and is completely stupid and isn't a mistake you make if you choose to do it. You seem to be making some wild assumptions about myself, or else I just don't get your point and how it relates to this story.

I made no assumptions to you; I was speaking in general terms. I asked you the questions given society's acceptance standard, as I pointed out. I never said you thought any of those things (Y)

100,000 morons - 1 = 99,000 morons.

We've still got a way to go.

You wertainly must be one of them - look at your maths! ;)

In fairness, the blame is his, but it doesn't "serve him right". If an area is THAT dangerous - you need more than a fence and a sign. Best to come of it is that it may serve as a lesson to others and safety will be increased.

Funny how most replies go along the lines of "serves him right!". FFS it's an amusement park and the victim's a teen. That fence is a vertical pile of fail, not tall enough without barbed wire on top.

We've all been teens once. You'd be ****ting me if you were to say that most teens you've knew and seen were mature and followed rules and the law from A to Z and etc, yeah ****in right

I'm not defending the dude. He was clearly stupid to go in a dangerous zone, but does that warrant one's death? It's not like it was an adult who can think twice before doing something, it was a teen. Yeah some of us were mature in those ages too, but again it would be a blatant lie to say that most teens are. Just remember your high school years.

FAIL.

followed rules and the law from A to Z

He went over a fence, tried to grab someone's foot on a ride that was going really, really fast. He was 17!! Nearly the age of majority.

You need a ****ing sign?????

Yeah, it warrants his death - why the hell not? This could be someone who could grow up and end up doing your taxes, or God forbid, performing major surgery.

Only because they consider themselves holy and nothing bad can happen to them.

Wait, what? In what religion on the face of the earth do people believe nothing bad can happen to them? Regardless of how you feel about religion, that's just a stupid statement.

Plus one. (Y)

Also I fail to see how the local church has anything to do with this other than they happened to shuttle these 'kids' (for lack of a better word) to Six Flags. What if they were just a regular pack of teens who just decided to go there by themselves? Then what will it be? "Oh they were just a bunch of idiots" instead of "Oh, they got brainwashed into thinking God will save them...." But whatever, some people just itch for religious bashing.

Your math skills put you right in that same category.

 Leave him alone, his keyboard needs some unsticking.

Ok first off it is kind of funny it happened to someone part of a church group. Only because they consider themselves holy and nothing bad can happen to them. 2nd Have any of you actually watched some of those real decapitation videos? Well I have and the fact that what happened to him happened that quickly, its all good.
look, god needed him for some deeds in the afterlife, this was the quickest way he thought he could get the kid up there.

So, Darwin 1, God 0

...it was a church group

just some examples of how nice people are ^

such a shame.

I love these people bashing the ones saying he deserved it. He did deserve it. He probably didn't know he would be killed, let alone injured, but he jumped 2 fences to grab somebody's foot when they were going ~55mph. You've got to be completely freaking retarded to think that was a good idea.

I blame his parents. They obviously didn't raise their kid to have any common sense.

good. at least you will be confined to your home sitting at your computer.

why??? did you super-glue my chair? :3

I guess that kid never heart of Newton's Laws of Motion:

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

why did he need to know that??? Just blame the white man :p

Um, this is Neowin. Supporting religion is heavily frowned upon. If you want to fit in and be cool you must do no such thing...

Ya except this incident had little to do with religion..... I mean, he was with a religious group, but nothing he learned through them made him do what he did. It really is a shame...... And for others here to insinuate that religious people think they can't die is ridiculous. Everyone dies..... what's to debate is where u go after u die :p . Anyway, screw the religious part of this thread. It's irrelevent. Its a real shame, what happened. No he didn't deserve it, but yes he had something coming to him by trying to grab the foot of someone going like 60MPH or however fast those rollercoasters go these days. Hope people learn from it and never do it again. I hope the boy is at peace wherever he is. And I pray for peace for his family and friends as well.

    • While I agree with all that, it just proves there's an a** built for every seat.
    • Lol are you mad because I'm not using AI? I'd rather pay people than lose a bunch of potential customers and get humilated because I used AI. A lot of people won't purchase a game if it used AI during development.
    • LibreWolf 152.0-1 by Razvan Serea LibreWolf is an independent “fork” of Firefox, with the primary goals of privacy security and user freedom. It is the community run successor to LibreFox. LibreWolf is designed to increase protection against tracking and fingerprinting techniques, while also including a few security improvements. This is achieved through our privacy and security oriented settings and patches. LibreWolf also aims to remove all the telemetry, data collection and annoyances, as well as disabling anti-freedom features like DRM. LibreWolf features: Latest Firefox — LibreWolf is compiled directly from the latest build of Firefox Stable. You will have the the latest features, and security updates. Independent Build — LibreWolf uses a build independent of Firefox and has its own settings, profile folder and installation path. As a result, it can be installed alongside Firefox or any other browser. No phoning home — Embedded server links and other calling home functions are removed. In other words, minimal background connections by default. User settings updates Extensions firewall: limit internet access for extensions. Multi-platform (Windows/Linux/Mac/and soon Android) Community-Driven Dark theme (classic and advanced) LibreWolf privacy features: Delete cookies and website data on close. Strip tracking elements from URLs, both natively and through uBO. Enable dFPI, also known as Total Cookie Protection. Enable RFP which is part of the Tor Uplift project. RFP is considered the best in class anti-fingerprinting solution, and its goal is to make users look the same and cover as many metrics as possible, in an effort to block fingerprinting techniques. Always display user language as en-US to websites, in order to protect the language used in the browser and in the OS. Disable WebGL, as it is a strong fingerprinting vector. Prevent access to the location services of the OS, and use Mozilla's location API instead of Google's API. Limit ICE candidates generation to a single interface when sharing video or audio during a videoconference. Force DNS and WebRTC inside the proxy, when one is being used. Trim cross-origin referrers, so that they don't include the full URI. Disable link prefetching and speculative connections. Disable disk cache and clear temporary files on close. • hahahahah wow hahahah you sure got me there hahahahahah, you know that bad performance is always due to poor optimization by the developers, right???
    • "I know for a fact I'll never own one of these." This is why choice is better than government regulation. Globaly Android has something like 72% of the smartphone market. Granted the vast majority of that is low end phones. Apple can and should charge whatever they want. The market will decide if it is too much.
