Take that attitude out of this board please.

No, Mr. Not-a-moderator.

You're actually criticizing me posting screenshots and videos/gifs of a PS3 game, in the Sony section, in it's OWN topic? I go through a lot of effort at times to bring every little piece of info I can to some of these topics.

I know, stop wasting your time. Do something more constructive. IGN and wikipedia cover everything you do.

There's no point in official topics for big games if everyone just goes and posts individual topics for everything on the game, especially just for opinions on the game.

There is no point in official topics for big games anyways. There should be 3-6ish topics for any/each game depending on the contents of each topic. Then you should merge straggler topics into one of those more specific topics.

I won't be scrolling through this garbage to find your response, so don't bother posting it. You can PM if you really feel it is necessary.

Members made the decision to keep game discussion in these large topics, not the mods. Now we set them up because it's easier to keep all the news in one place instead of looking for random news posted weeks ago. At least if I want to read something again or watch a video another time it's posted in this topic somewhere.

Not hidden somewhere in the back pages where I have to rely on the crap search to find something I might not even remember the name of.

I'm genuinely saddened to read that reply.

Oh well, can't get the decency from everyone to understand the effort involved.

Just gotta know that some people appreciate it :)

This garbage happens to be the product of Neowin's own members and without it the forums would be dead by now.

I may not always enjoy the content but at least I give my respect for the effort put in.

No one's pointing a gun at your head so I guess that if you don't like it just GTFO instead of being disrespectful.

The first review is in for anyone who cares.

OPM UK issue 25

OPM UK which gave Resistance 1 a 7/10 has given Resistance 2 a 9/10. Resistance 2 is also on the cover of the December OPM with a sackboy chimera underneath it.

Please note that the magazine took off one point from the Resistance 2 's overall score since they were not given the final version of MP . They reviewed Resistance 2 based on unfinished versions of MP which had glitches that were ironed out in the final version according to JS, community manager at Resistance forums. OPM UK was very impressed with Resistance 2 and praised all sections of the game. They gave the original RFOM 7/10

Other scores for anyone else who cares,

i have only played the beta once but by my first impressions i'm kind of left by a "meh" attitude. i thought the graphics would be better and the gameplay seems exactly the same as the first. dont get me wrong, i will surely play the beta more and more before the release... just my first impression.

I recently got a beta key sent to me and have played the beta a few times. TBH, I have been left with the same "meh" attitude. After hearing so many amazing reviews and good comments about this sequel I guess I was expecting much more. I don't see why everyone has rated it so highly. I understand its a beta and some things may change for the retail version. Graphically its errrm OK, sure, its better than R1 but it doesn't blow me a way so to speak. Yes it's got 8 person co-op online multiplayer and up to 60 person online competitive multiplayer. Apart from the fact it has all that amount of players online, the online play doesn't feel anything special. I guess it doesn't feel realistic enough for me. COD4 still has much better online play.

Also, my understanding is you cannot play the normal offline campaign as multiplayer like you could in R1. You are forced to play a separate campaign which apparently compliments the single-player campaign, so you still have to play the normal single-player campaign first before you attempt the complimentary offline multiplayer. Even then, the offline multiplayer is still about points scoring and rank advancement like online is. Personally I don't like that. I just want to play the normal game when some mates are over. I guess the issue about the offline campaigns is for another thread but just thought I would mention it.

I didn't sign up for the R2 beta as I wanted to finish R1 first. I finished it last night, and now the beta signup period is closed.

I felt that R1 was a good FPS, and I am sure that I will enjoy even more so given the additions and upgrades.

    • Good. I hope more people sue them for focusing on this worthless junk.
    • How about fire the guy who approved all the bad decisions? The guy who bought these studios in the first place? Oh wait, Satya is safe with his billions while the workers pay the price.
    • This had nothing to do with games. This is all about management wanting to squeeze as much money from Xbox to keep Microsoft's AI ambitions afloat. Someone has to make money to burn on AI.

The Ultra 9 185H features 16 cores and 22 threads running at up to 5.1 GHz. It also includes a dedicated NPU utilizing Intel AI Boost at 11 TOPS. On the graphics front, the 185H includes the still fairly capable ARC Graphics (not to be confused with the newer ARC 140T) integrated GPU with a max GPU frequency of 2350 MHz across 8 Xe-cores. It has been said that the iGPU is equivalent to the NVIDIA GeForce 3050 and GTX 1650 in gaming and synthetic benchmarks. Other highlights include an AMOLED display, LPDDR5x memory at 7467 MT/s, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and a fingerprint sensor built into the power button. AI PC? Although the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H includes a dedicated NPU, it's only 11 TOPS; therefore, it does not qualify as a Copilot+ PC. However, it can reach up to 33 TOPS with a combination of NPU, CPU, and GPU. As I said, although we only reviewed the X14 Pro, the unboxing is the same for the X16 Pro, which I noted in my review. The packaging is quite a nice experience. The outer box houses the X16 Pro box with a small compartment that contains the 5-in-1 Dock ($40 value), which appears to be an "Early Bird" inclusion. Upon removing the box cover, the X16 Pro is revealed sitting in a cardboard compartment with two small booklets of documentation. To the left of the X16 Pro are two cardboard compartments containing the 65W charger and Type-C USB cable. What’s In The Box 1 x GEEKOM X16 Pro Ultra-thin Laptop 1 x Type-C to Type-C cable 1.8M 1 x 65W GaN PD Fast Charger 1 x Warranty Card 1 x Thank You Card 1 x User Guide All products sold by GEEKOM receive a 3-year free Warranty from the date you receive the product.
