Jeez silver service got in before Gold?

Well they wanted a wide range of users.

and him being indian probably put him quite up there. Gold subscribers got preferential treatment if there where two peopl with uniquely desireable "traits" and one wa silver and one was gold. Maybe there wasn't a lot of gold subssribers in India that applied, afterall it was mostly nightime there I think.

You guys who got accepted, when you get the preview let us know how it is.

But specifically someone let ME know how the hard drive option is?

Like the "install to hd" for games.

If thats still there and if it works good enough to the fact where it loads the game with the cd in but has everything on the hd, this way i can take the cd out in the middle of the process so all the stuff on the hd(besides the disc verification, thats why the disc is needed to start first) can run and I can have a NOT A LEAF BLOWER DVD drive running loud.

You probably can't take the disc out without it resetting back to the dash, but it won't need to read from the disc at all if the data is copied to the HDD so there should be no noise.

It goes to the dashboard when you press the eject on your DVD. but it does not spin the dvd drive (only for a piracy check) so there's no reason to eject it anyway.

there is a movie here showing how it works http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-tour-new-xb...perience/17-88/

I feel like Hitler in that movie, where he's told he didn't get in the NXE preview

Don't worry, I'm sure that's in the process of getting made now :p

I didn't get in either.

GameTrailers video of the NXE: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/42166.html

Still loading issues with avatar features (like you get with gamerpics now) and loading the friends list in the new guide... and that was without a game playing in the background, so I'm wondering just how much better the loading times will actually be...

Also, I hate the Wii-esque menu selection sounds.

    • You're absolutely right! No reason in hell these should be on the road!
    • They aren't going to want to. Most would just go with the 17 Pro and save money. Why would they want to spend $300 for basically the same thing? It's not worth it if there are hardly any changes from year to year.
    • 24H2 rolled out to the Release Preview Channel in early June 2024, so this coming a bit later in the Experimental Channel (formerly Dev) doesn't really say much more than earlier H2 releases that came out in October. I am not sure what the thinking is here by putting it in Experimental, one would think that the 26H2 stamp means features are locked down and it's now bug tested until October? I don't even pretend to understand Microsoft's strategy for Windows Insider Program though

Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.3, with support for AAC, SBC, and LDAC audio codecs. Additional features include IP54-rated earbuds for dust and splash resistance, paired with an IPX2-rated charging case. Furthermore, users also benefit from pinch controls, in-ear detection, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, dual-device connectivity, and a low-latency mode designed for gaming and video playback. The Nothing X app unlocks a range of customisation options, including a personalised equaliser, bass enhancement, control remapping, ear tip fit testing, firmware updates, dual-device management, a Find My Earbuds feature, and low-latency mode settings. When it comes to the battery, the earbuds house a 46mAh lithium-ion battery, while the charging case contains a 500mAh cell.
