I started One Piece last night, watched 6 or so, I can see myself getting into it :p

It's good, but after watching 300+ straight episodes of it you realize there is a lot of "fluff" in the show to drag it out more and more. Now, I haven't read the manga so I don't know if there is filler story arcs in it like there is for Naruto and Bleach, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

It's why there is so much unneeded boring parts and as was mentioned earlier nearly a 5 minute recap at the start of every single episode. By the time you count out the 2-3 minutes for the opening and ending credits and the recap you're left with not very much show to watch..and that's not to mention the other recaps that they actually have during the show as well. Thinking back to something that happened 2 minutes ago..

Yeah there will probably be a lot of dragging it out, but I don't mind that, as I've said earlier I watched all the Naruto filler, so I think I should be okay for One Piece :p

I can see there are going to be some big battles coming up which is what I want. I've been watching story driven anime lately, I need some good fighting lol

Alright everybody, Bleach comes out tonight, ready for some epic battles? hehe

I wonder who's fight they are going to focus on tonight, my money would be Kenpachi's. I have a feeling a certain eyepatch is coming off at some point during the battle, it would be cool if we could see a technique that Kenpachi hasn't used before. Then again, he's basically brute strength :p

On another note, I'm on ep 13 of One Piece already, I'm starting to find out why there are 389 eps, they are totally sidetracked from their main quest already lol.. It's a show that's basically one long adventure, unless I'm mistaken. I was looking for an anime to watch like that, I bet it wont take me too long to catch up to current.

Tonight will finish off the first fight we saw most of last episode, then we will get hopefully the full fight of the 2 science guys. If not, it will end at a part im sure will just **** me off. Tonights fight is the one ive been looking forward to seeing in animation for quite some time. The Superhuman poison :)

well the 198 title "The Two Scientists, Mayuri's Trap"

i h8 to spoil it but it look like the battle well take two EP s' then jump into ep Zaraki fight

Best Ending segment ever! sniped

i lol'ed

Kenpachi will use kendo because of the injuries he has in battle. If you haven't read the manga already.

Radish?

I haven't read any of the manga actually, I really only watch anime.

Perhaps one day I'll get into it, I heard 'Berserk' has a good manga, a couple of my friends had read it.

Mayuri's fight will be interesting, I wonder what he has up his sleeve..

Man, the first 7 minutes of episode 198 was a recap of the last episode! :pinch:

Half the episode itself was about Byakuya's fight, the last half was Mayuri's fight - which was bloody awesome with Szayel's slow death about to start with some comedy thrown in by Mayuri himself as well as his Bankai

Radish?

Ok, after watching it, that episode was done very nicely. The recap was a little long, but wasnt bad. The other captains fight was just as it was in the manga, with barely any deviation. I can only see this getting better and better. The music was also top notch. And that line Kuchiki said, " When did I say I was going to kill you as a shinigami? I must kill you because you pointed a sword at my pride.", just great.

Radish, that sig is sweeet. Whats a good program that can capture video screens? because I know of some great scenes on kenpachis fight that will make for some good avatars/sigs.

recaps are good when they are far into a story and there has been a break, but I think right now we all get whats going on. I'm scared of how much recap there could be when they finally start getting into the main captains battles outside. If in the manga it seems like its lasting forever, the recaps will be full episodes lol.

I hate that, they have barely 30 min and in the 30 min 10 are almost recap of the last episode not to mention the intro and the ending.

Also look's like bleach anime is getting close to manga, I heard somewhere that they're making different episodes starting January. Is it true.

There could be possible filler coming up, as the manga really hasnt moved as far as I think they hoped during the last filler. I just hope what ever they do, its something good.

Man, I enjoyed that episode, but that recap was starting to upset me.

You barely have enough time to show new stuff let alone recaps from like 10 eps ago. I like how Mayuri was just playing with everyone lol

Oh well, back to watching One Piece :p

maybe in the middle/end of January ? man i really hate fillers , but i will still watch them regardless

i didn't believe my eyes i thought he would get really killed lol then he jumped suddenly into syzel face hahahah

what a crazy scientist hahaha he made me lugh big times this ep

I found myself chuckling that's for sure

I'm interested to see why he's wearing that different outfit, you guys said that had some significance right?

As much as I don't like the recaps, I'd rather have that than filler :p

    • Microsoft Weekly: Surface Laptop Ultra, Windows 11 context menus, Build 2026 recap, and more by Taras Buria This week's news recap is here, with Microsoft announcing the new Surface Laptop Ultra, fresh chips from NVIDIA for Windows on ARM, a no-build week, fixes for Windows 11's context menus, gaming news, reviews, and more. Quick links: Windows 10 and 11 Windows Insider Program Updates are available Reviews are in Gaming news Great deals to check Windows 11 and Windows 10 Here, we talk about everything happening around Microsoft's latest operating system in the Stable channel and preview builds: new features, removed features, controversies, bugs, interesting findings, and more. And, of course, you may find a word or two about older versions. At Computex 2026, together with NVIDIA, Microsoft announced the Surface Laptop Ultra, its most powerful laptop to date, powered by NVIDIA's RTX Spark processor. Details about this computer are currently scarce, as Microsoft has only revealed certain parts of its specs. So far, we know that the computer has a 15-inch mini-LED display, a rich set of ports, a powerful processor, and all-day battery life. It also comes with a new wallpaper, which you can already download here in full resolution. The Surface Laptop Studio is not the only NVIDIA-powered Surface, which Microsoft unveiled this week. At Build 2026, the company also debuted the Surface RTX Spark Dev Box, an odd-shaped desktop with a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU and an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores and fifth-generation Tensor Cores with FP4 precision, connected via the NVIDIA NVLink-C2C chip-to-chip interconnect for high performance. According to Microsoft, it can run models with up to 120 billion parameters locally without relying on cloud GPU infrastructure. These two new Surface devices are likely to cost quite a lot, and for those who need a more affordable device, Microsoft is preparing the next-gen Qualcomm-powered Surface Pro and Surface Laptop. This week, details about these two devices leaked in plenty of detail. Other announcements at Build 2026 include the following: Microsoft unveils new security tools for IT admins and developers building AI products Microsoft announces Scout, an OpenClaw-powered personal agent for enterprise customers Microsoft unveils MAI-Thinking-1 reasoning and MAI-Code-1 coding models Microsoft announced a new Windows 11 native command-line utility Microsoft unveils Majorana 2 quantum chip, accelerating commercial timeline to 2029 Microsoft believes that AI agents will eventually replace apps through Project Solara Microsoft introduces Web IQ, a Bing-powered search system built for AI agents Last week, Microsoft released a new Experimental build, which introduced a major Start menu upgrade. It now lets you toggle off specific parts of the menu without affecting other features, resize the menu, and hide additional UI elements. We published a closer look here, so if you want to know what Microsoft is cooking without enrolling in the Insider program and installing unstable builds, check it out. Speaking of new features, many users are very annoyed about the way Microsoft delivers them. Recently, a frustrated user shared their experience with gradual rollouts, and even Microsoft engineers admitted there is a flaw in the system that prevents new features from applying properly. One of those new features includes the ability to uninstall AI models in Windows 11 with a single click. Windows 11 is finally getting fixes for its slow context menus. Marcus Ash from Microsoft confirmed that the company is working on fixing Windows 11's context menus. Reworked context menus are going to be faster, simpler by default, and "configurable to what you use most." According to Marcus, Microsoft will share more details soon. Windows Insider Program Windows 11 preview builds, released last week, are now available for download as standalone ISO files. These days, Microsoft regularly pushes new images, allowing users to clean-install its recent Windows 11 preview builds faster and easier. If you want to try the latest Windows 11 features without jumping through the Windows Update hoops, get those new images here. Sadly, Microsoft did not release new Windows 11 preview builds this week. Come back next time. Updates are available This section covers software, firmware, and other notable updates (released and coming soon) delivering new features, security fixes, improvements, patches, and more from Microsoft and third parties. Microsoft is preparing new features for Teams. Later this month, the messenger will receive a new download manager with auto-dismissing notifications, reducing clutter and making the overall experience less annoying when dealing with downloads. Mozilla released Firefox 151.0.3, a new bug-fixing update for the browser. It is a small release, which fixes problems with pasting into text fields and the oversized VPN button on the toolbar. The update is now available for all users in the Release channel. GEEKOM Air12 2026 Edition is a low-power, affordable computer with an Intel Tiger Lake Pentium Gold processor, up to 16GB of memory, and 512GB of storage, costing just $349. It is light, quiet, energy efficient, and has modern ports on the front. However, the front-facing USB Type-C is data-only, and there are some quirks with the computer's memory, so check out the full review. The AMD RX 9070 GRE has been released worldwide, and we published a benchmark review comparing this powerful graphics card to the RX 9070 XT, 7800 XT, the NVIDIA RTX 5070, and RTX 4070. It has solid, balanced performance, plenty of RAM, and low temperatures, but watch out for mediocre ray tracing performance and not the best efficiency. Also, we reviewed the Cuktech 10 Ultra, a compact, high-power charger with four ports and a big display full of various stats. This tiny charger can pull nearly 120W and spread that power according to each connected device's needs. It also comes with a high-quality 240W cable, three power modes, and retractable prongs. The best part? It is quite affordable, just make sure you have an outlet placed in the right spot to benefit from the built-in display. • Let's goooooooo! I've been loving the entries so far! I still have to finish Rebirth (things have been busy!)! Excited for this next installment.
    • "Revelation?" I was hoping for this episode to be called "Reunion". Oh, well... In a related note, the Final Fantasy VII compilation has received an EC entry, short for Ever Crisis. For those who don't know, it already had AC, BC, CC, and DC entries, short for Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus. I hope it doesn't get an FC entry becaude that would be a freakin' crisis.
