wait, did i read that correctly? new hellsing? the original hellsing was great. The music, animation, story, just awesome.

You haven't heard about the new Hellsing series? It's been on going for at least a year now. But the episodes only come out every 3-4 months if that. So we're only at the 4th episode I think? Unless the 5th one has been released recently, I haven't looked. It's awesome..you should check it out.

The episode lengths are quite nice too, 40-50-60 minutes.

Edit: HAH, amazing.... check your local torrent sites, Hellsing OVA 5 just came out TODAY, what a coincidence. I didn't know that before I asked my question.

Edit 2: Downloading at 500k, be watching it shortly. :ninja:

it's been out ages well two months at least...

Does anyone watch Shikabane Hime, I just started recently and they only have upto 9 episodes. But damn, I usally don't go for the kinda stuff I was just curious.

I'm watching it, but it's not really grabbing my attention. The synopsis of it sounded really good.

Radish?

Hellsing Ultimate/OVA has been amazing so far. And now that the manga is close to being finished the series should wrap up nicely. Volume 5 was released Nov. 21st, 2008 in Japan...no date has been announced for the English version :( (YET).

@The Watcher, where are you getting all your info from. Seems like you were right on Naruto and One Piece. tongue.gif

Well it's good to know my information is right but I never reveal my sources. :ninja: haha, you can find most of the information on raw releases, which is basicly the manga released in Japan but not translated yet. It comes about 5 hours, or so, before being posted on websites. You've got to know some japanese people!

Oh it was just that :p

I was hoping you stumbled upon a leaker source. :D

Nah, the "next season" is just a spin off. Im waiting for the REAL sequel that was announced some months ago.

In 2009 we are supposed to get the new Haruhi Suzumiya season too, will be an interesting year.

Now, I only need a new Ergo Proxy series and Im set.

Dude, Ergo Proxy was unbelievable!

My friend at work told me about it one day and I checked it out, it's very Orwellian, which I enjoy. :p

PS, I'm stoked at how this thread took off! Shakey and a few of us started it a little while ago, it's good to see anime watchers on Neowin!

I actually never got back into Naruto after that endless chain of fillers they did.

hehe shift, right now DB is doing a sort of side project on stream lining the Naruto anime. They got a lot of helpers on it :) and it should be ready with in a year we are hoping. But going through every episode and just cutting the useless filler, flashbacks, and other things that cut away from the manga storyline. Hopefully it will be great when its finished.

But ya, I was just a little fan of Naruto during the first 100 episodes, but the filler and stuff just killed me. In shippuuden, everything has been taken up a notch at least. The story has got a lot more interesting, more adult in the theme and way stuff is being handled now, great animation and music (almost anime movie quality in my op), and is now opening itself up for a lot of history to come to light and other things. And Shippuudens filler has been at least tying into the original story sort of flawlessly, except with this last episode and Orochimaru appearing to his own person again....

Now time to download the new Hellsing, I know what im doing today :)

oh wait !

but they said they gonna drop naruto

dropping the subbing of new episodes.

This is something totally different. And unless they feel it will violate too much, its still a go :)

Aw man , this new Hellsing is great. I kept thinking i was watching the original one in a lot of parts as well. I like the art style of this one a lot, certain things look the same with other things looking a lot more how i think they should have. Integra also finally looks and sounds like a woman.

What anime is Alucard from again? I've heard that name before..

I wonder how long it's going to take Naruto to get back into action after his arm getting messed up. The filler has been ok in Shippuuden, but I really disliked that whole bit with Sora, didn't interest me at all.

Weird thing about Naruto is that every powerful jutsu he learns he's not able to use! Demon fox and now Rasen-Shuriken. Kinda sucks for him..

Yeah. You haven't read the manga? If not then you're in for a real treat. I won't give any spoilers.

And Alucard is from the anime Hellsing. Both the original 13 episode anime and the new OVA's are awesome.

Edit: If you like vampires and gory anime that is.

Just finished watching the 4th Hellsing OVA. Great series so far. My cup of tea exactly. So the 5th has been released, just no one has subbed it yet it seems as well, which really sucks. I hope this gets picked up by a good group soon.

I like any anime, I'll give it a try (Y)

    • I think this will appeal to a lot of enthusiasts. If the thermals are similar to those of a single system in a compact case, many people running multiple systems may choose to combine them into one machine, provided the case footprint remains reasonable.
    • No, "a great deal" for 32GB of DDR5 is $50, not $350. I mean I see what you mean, that it's a decent price compared to what's currently available, but you really should put a disclaimer in this articles explaining that it's still multiple times more expensive than it used to be.
    • Linux 7.1 stable launch looms as Linus Torvalds releases the final release candidate by Paul Hill Linus Torvalds has just released what’s expected to be the final release candidate of Linux 7.1, rc7. The Linux founder said that this RC is not small, but smaller than recent releases, which is a good sign because he expects the stable version to drop next week if things continue on this trajectory. Linux kernels see a merge window for the first two weeks of their life, where developers add new features, then there are about seven or eight weeks of release candidates before the stable version. Typically, there are seven release candidates, but if more time is needed, then an eighth release candidate is released too. This week’s RC’s biggest area of fixes was for GPUs, with networking just behind. Torvalds said that the rest of the release was “pretty random and spread out” with some architecture fixes, driver fixes, filesystem improvements, and build fixes for more unusual configs. In terms of specific pieces of hardware receiving improvements in this update, we had more AMD Zen6 models supported and fixes for AMD SDMA 7.1 and GFX11. Hardware that got improvements includes Lenovo laptops, HONOR laptops, and MSI laptops. Here are the changelogs for those: ASoC: amd: acp: Add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 Input: atkbd - add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Air 14 (83QK) Input: atkbd - skip deactivate for HONOR BCC-N's internal keyboard ASoC: amd: yc: Add MSI Raider A18 HX A9WJG to quirk table ASoC: amd: yc: Enable internal mic on MSI Bravo 17 C7VF When the stable Linux 7.1 is released, it will be up to distribution maintainers, such as Canonical and Red Hat, to release the update to their users via the update manager. Some versions of Linux will get it before others, and some will never get it at all. Fedora and Arch-based distros will be among the first to get it, though. If you don’t get it, the security fixes will be backported to your system’s kernel, so you won’t be at risk, but you won’t get newer hardware support, which is fine if your computer works now.
