This game doesn't need to be a 'WoW Killer' to be a great game with a successful long life. But NCSoft have recently got a bad reputation for axing MMO's before there time like Tabula Rasa and Auto Assault.

I fear that if the game doesn't get enough subscribers within its first 6 months that NCSoft will end it. The game looks great I will definitely pick it up but I'll wait for a year first.

According to Aionsource the NDA has been lifted as of a few days ago. They said that because they could finally reveal their secret project, http://www.aionarmory.com/

And right now the only way to get a beta key is to pre-order. The give away keys that people got for the last event still work however.

More info here if you need it.

alright. Hopefully this allows the pictures to be shown full size.

Only a few for now. I want to get in an play!

If anyone knows how I can get these uploaded in 1920x1200, please let me know. These tiny pictures don't do the game justice.

seems to be a error with game guard and Windows 7 :/

I don't use Win7 so I can't tell you how to do it but there are fixes for that I'm pretty sure. Look through the forums on aionsource.com and the beta board if you have access to it.

wow it does look nice.. Looks like Guild Wars 2 to me.

Also WOW at that aionarmory. They straight stole it from Curse.com Hopefully curse is getting paid for it, that would be great for those guys.

Aionsource/Aionarmory is hosted or partially owned by Curse.com, or maybe fully owned by them, I'm not sure.

But hey, everyone likes curse, so why not work off of it right?

People complain that certain aspects of WoW are being ripped off when a game comes out, but thats going to happen no matter what way you looked at it. WoW stole almost every aspect of the game from other games themselves, they just 'did it right'.

there is a fix but its for the 64 bit so far :/

No, 15$ a month but right now it's in closed beta so the only way to play is if you preorder. I was skeptical at first but I dove in and preordered anyway. It's looking like I know what game I'll be playing for the next few years.

After showing it to 4 friends who have been playing wow for years all 4 preordered the collectors edition.

    • (macOS) Screen zoom was broken for me in beta 1 and it's now working properly in beta 2. In terms of performance and UI design/consistency, these betas are already much better than Tahoe.
    • Less powerful than a PS5 at twice the price! I wonder if they use that for marketing? Totally DoA.
