Just edit the iso in UltraISO.

Open it up, find ei.cfg, delete it and save the iso.

Yup, that works. Although since I just extracted the ISO to a flash drive and install from that it was just a matter of deleting it and going on my way. Installing from a flash drive is way faster.

I'm pretty sure it's 16385. Like I said earlier, the change to subbuild 16399 was done through windows update and this was only recently done. People are reporting the same hash as was to Wzor, which means it is the same build as 16385.

Use the Akamai download manager. Open up Internet explorer, go to Top Downloads when you signed in, and you will see the links, if you do not. Try closing File TRansfer Manager.

I probably should have used that. Do you think Firefox is slower without the Akamai manager?

You just won't be able to see the links in Top Downloads if you're using firefox. use Internet explorer for that.

According to MS its today for Connect users as well. Not sure...

? Both the download option and the boxed product will include x86 and x64.

? In both cases your product key will activate your choice of one of these.

? Downloads will be available to members of the Technical Beta Program on August 6th.

? We are not offering evaluation copies as download therefore only those who choose download as an option will have access to the download images.

? We can only ship boxed product to the shipping address you have on file with Connect. Please make sure it is up to date.

? Because there will be a limited amount of boxed product available we will notify you no later than the end of day August 6th as to whether we were able to fulfill your request. If not, we will automatically convert your request to a download.

? Members of our international ?Mini beta? efforts do not need to do anything yet. Starting August 6th you will be given access to downloads and over the next several weeks we will ensure all languages are posted and available to you.

Can anyone with Connect access shed some light?

I've finished installing Win7 and now I'm just installing other software and I noticed that there's no link anywhere for WLM or any of the Windows Live software. I thought a link would appear on the Start menu by default?

Go to the getting started section and click the black arrow. You will see a link for get windows live essentials.

I checked the connect newsgroup, "Wendy" who is part of the Windows beta management team posted that she "...in the process of making this live today. Please stay tuned.", if I am not wrong I think when Vista was made available to connect users it was around 330~430ish in the evening PST.

The leaked RTM and language packs are working great, but its better to have the release in the language you need if there is no need for LP's.

If I know right, the other languages will available only from 1st of october.

      I do not remember anything happening to Apple and Google for bribing people not to make Apps for Windows Phone. Edge barley has a foot print to matter. If the other browser companies want more of the Pie, they need to do better. I use Brave on all my personal device. However in industry, Edge of default, as we can manage it easier with MS tools.

      On the one hand, it shouldn't be difficult. You buy a computer, you decide what OS you want, which browser etc. Simple enough. But that's the techie side of things. My sister, my mother, wouldn't bother with such a thought. And I'm pretty sure that if you presented a window asking them what to pick they would say, "I don't care! I just want to access my Email!"
