rajputwarrior 280 Posted June 10, 2010 :( USA won't lose all their group matches! Algeria and Slovenia will hopefully both be wins. England, well, time will tell...VERY SOON! i don't care what anyone says, the states are going to surprise a lot of people this tournament. they are fast, decent amount of skill, amazing team work and good coaching. Damo R. 29,658 Posted June 11, 2010 here we go! (not watching the opening ceremony though those drag on way to long! watching tennis instead!)
Argote 73 Posted June 11, 2010 Is it me or was the opening ceremony kinda lame? I think there were too few people and it looked kinda low-budget (which is odd because they seem to have spent a bit on other stuff). It absolutely had nothing on the Beijing 2008 ceremony. Knife Party 629 Posted June 11, 2010 watching opening ceremony, please GOD RSA please don't own goal :p

Argote 73 Posted June 11, 2010 yeah I noticed that, also the stadium looked not even half full. True, I guess a bunch of people do not care for the ceremony are arriving for the game only.

Argote 73 Posted June 11, 2010 at the opening, has anybody seen europe at the worldview? Nope, I did not see Europe there, and America looked tiny.
thefonz 5 Posted June 11, 2010 I stopped watching it - pretty dull and lame. Excited for the first game SA vs Mexico though and tonight promises to be a good game between France and Uruguay. Got myself sorted for the England drubbing game tomorrow too - bbq and beers!

Argote 73 Posted June 11, 2010 I really hope they take those stupid noise things away from people...they are annoying  Rest assured that there will be vuvuzelas(sp?) at every single game. From Wikipedia: Vuvuzelas have been controversial, linked to permanent noise-induced hearing loss, potentiality spreading colds and flu germs on a greater scale than coughing or shouting, and injury to pets who generally have more sensitive hearing and are more likely to run away because of being terrified by the sound
Damo R. 29,658 Posted June 11, 2010 this tweet sums everything up really about those annoying noise tubes :p
