Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Recommended Posts

I do not think AC:B is designed to be AC3, which is why it is re-using Ezio instead of putting you in the shoes of another assassin. So will it be as good (storywise) as AC2? I doubt it, but its not suppose to be. I think AC:B will be to AC:2 as Crysis Warhead was to Crysis. Sort of a standalone expansion in both features and story, expanding farther on the original story but not so much that it will be a full-fledged sequal to it.

*facepalm

I'm sorry. Didn't think that one through. I assumed that it was about AC3. But your explanation makes much more sense. :)

Well, in that case: bring it on! :D

I have Splinter Cell Conviction on the PC, and too be totally honest, the DRM didnt annoy me too much.

I have SCC and AC2 on PC and TBH, the DRM totally sucks. I feel quite jipped, but I wanted the games, so I deal with it.

Sure I can bypass that, but why should I have to? Give me back the old DRM - or better yet, none.

Doesn't make it right, and Ubi will get my money when AC3 comes out. Sigh.

me either. it's gonna be awesome. (Y) So the Producers weren't lying about Ezio coming back. I just wished that they each series would be a different Assassin, you know ... a Assassin in each age. I hope the expand more on the NWO. but oh well. I take what I can get.

yeah I mean more Assassins is good, but of course if its Venice again then fuuuuuuu it needs to be somewhere like France.

AC in Egypt?

"Publisher posts image showing a new take on its open-world action franchise tied to efforts to expand its brands beyond games.

The premise of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series of games--that a modern-day man using an "animus" machine can relive his ancestors' experiences--allows the publisher the freedom to explore any number of historical eras with its stories. The franchise has already tackled the Holy Land during the Crusades and Renaissance Italy, but now it is heading--in some form--to Egypt.

The publisher has posted a picture on its Ubisoft Workshop site showing what appears to be an assassin from its famed franchise standing in front of two pyramids. The image contains several nods to the series, including an emblem bearing the initials "AC" on it and a protagonist dressed up in an Egyptian variant of the standard assassin's garb, including a white head covering and a concealed--and blood-soaked--knife protruding from the character's right sleeve. "

If it includes their wonderful new DRM, I'll pass. Same goes for any Ubisoft game that has it, sadly that includes the new Prince of Persia game. Still haven't played AC2 because of it.

+1 and its on sale @ EB Games in NZ for 50.00 and i will not touch it' too bad i loved the first one!!!

Xbox 360 copy pre-ordered from Play.com. With any luck, we wont have to put up with the DRM cak.

I would have absolutely no problem with that. The first Assassin's Creed game was essentially that once you'd gotten the counter attack, anyway.

that's true, but it's more of a 6 on 1 scenario. This time.. it's more even.

    • Browser vendors including Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Vivaldi have jointly written an open letter to Microsoft saying enough is enough regarding Edge being pushed on Windows users without consent. Microsoft makes it difficult to change the default browser, promotes Edge throughout Windows 11, and has made the uninstall process unnecessarily complicated compared to other apps. Does anyone have more details on what exactly the open letter demands and whether any regulatory action is being considered? Also curious whether this could lead to antitrust investigations similar to what happened with Internet Explorer back in the day. Would love to hear from anyone following this closely.
