Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

i think you get it as you progress through games, like i can't double jump up buildings i don't think (can't remember if ive actually tried) and i guess you unlock it like newer weapons, same as in AC2.

have you just tried bashing them with the attack button, that works too,

i read somewhere AC3 fighting was more beneficial to be aggressive rather than defensive and counter,

Yeah how the hell do you string your kills together? Like go from one instant kill to another? I swear I read something about holding down LT and pushing LS and X in the direction of the next kill (I am on the 360), but I cannot get it to work for the life of me? Did I read something wrong? I am pretty sure you have to counter first right? Which I am doing, but then I cannot get to the next person? I saw Pheis had a string of 43 kills, I cannot even get 10. :blink:

I am really early on

just set up the Aenimus or however it is spelled in the Sanctuary

, so I just opened up the Virtual Trainer and did the first exercise which is what leads me to this question above. I swear I could just keep playing the virtual trainer, doing the races now and they are so much fun.

My only problem with this game is my same problem with the previous AC games... There is so much to do and so much to play I am almost guaranteed to never, ever finish it. And that is not a real problem so to speak, just a direct result of not having nowhere near the time I would like to have for gaming as I would prefer to have. Never-mind the fact DKCR and Gran Turismo 5 comes out this week. I may just very well purchase this game from Gamefly and keep going back to it when there is nothing else to play, but so far I am really loving it, as I always have with AC.

I'm not trying to troll, but am I the only one absolutely not interested in this game despite loving the first two (well, loved the second, thought the first was above average)? I know it sounds like a fair leap over the other two in terms of gameplay, but it just doesn't seem like it. Maybe it's the fact that it's in the same time period as the last game, but for some reason I have absolutely no interest in getting this. Plus I'm really getting burned out on open-world games at the moment, but that's more of my own issue rather than a problem with the game.

I wasn't originally interested in this game either cuz I thought they only cared about the tacked on MP everyone talked about at first. But then it turned out that they put lots into the SP, and even the story line gets advanced as well which is another bonus in my book. Add all the extra stuff that you can do which adds to the gameplay, it's worth a buy for me, I just decided to hold off getting it right away till I finished some other games first.

I'll order it first or second week of Dec probably.

I think you need to do a counter before you start having the instant kills .. because that's what I do. I never attack first LOL. I let them start to attack me then I counter then just keep LT held down and move the LS to whoever. Once you see another opponent attacking, quickly hit your counter RT + X and Ezio should kill the next guy nad just continue on. Larry, what you can do is just do the memory start stuff first (the plot) and leave the rest of the other stuff if you ever get the time to finish those. But you don't really miss much because the other stuff isn't really important to the story except for the Glyphs. The other stuff is Finding the Glyphs , do 'something' with Da Vinci's inventions, find hidden underground stuff,train your team of assassins and re-bulid Rome. And then there's Multiplayer.. I have to admit I haven't touched it yet.. and I don't think I will.. just because the game type is the same ( FFA or Slayer ).

I just started today after some cheevo farming in Black Ops. Overall very impressed, mulitplayer is really quite well down and fairly tesnsion filled and single player is more polished and solid than ever. I'm glad they are taking a year off, but I'm very glad I bought AC:B :woot:

Free Assassin's Creed DLC before Xmas

Ubisoft must be feeling festive, because on 14th December it will release a free lump of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood DLC on both PS3 and Xbox 360.

Dubbed the Animus Project 1.0, the add-on twists the existing Alliance multiplayer mode into Advanced Alliance. This is in addition to the original mode.

Advanced Alliance will be more challenging - something to do with target identification and engagement - and be playable by three teams of two players each.

This mode's new map, Mont Saint Michel - narrow streets, bell tower, rocky island - makes for the perfect killing playground.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was released earlier this month. It's one of the best games this year, we reckon - and that's saying something.

Advanced Alliance sounds a bit boring to be honest, would love something different! :(

Just started this and it's excellent :D

Those Borgia Towers are hard though - trying a level 5 one and the Captain gets away each time :angry:

Guess I'll have to wait until I have smoke bombs or something with range.

All I have to say is "and our arrows will blot out the sun" :laugh:

No they don't import, nothing from your AC2 save does. The story gives a reason to why you start from nothing again.

@Razorwing,

While not as good as AC2's reveal from The Truth, it does ask some questions about if Subject 16 is really dead. Also this Eve, who the hell is that.

I think he's means more than a crossbow, almost like an arrow storm... :shifty:

Well I dunno since I don't have the game yet, maybe you can order your team to fire their crossbows as well? Guess that works.

I think he's means more than a crossbow, almost like an arrow storm... :shifty:

exactly. :yes:

@Lingwo

Yeah I know.. and his Son?.. did you notice he said Subject 17 instead of 16? Is it possible that Lucy is pregnant with his kid? Maybe.. that's why he stabbed her in the stomach area when he was being controlled by the 'others'.. thoughts?

    • Studio MDHR reveals Cuphead sequel and an 8-bit platformer spin-off by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Studio MDHR has been rather silent about its next major gaming project since the release of Cuphead back in 2017. However, that ended today during the Summer Game Fest presentation, with the studio revealing not one but two project announcements. First, the studio confirmed that it is currently in the middle of developing a brand-new Cuphead game, bringing back the iconic characters for another adventure. Just like the last game, this is slated to be a fully hand-animated endeavor. This also means there isn't a release date attached to it yet. “Craftsmanship is at the heart of everything we do here at Studio MDHR,” says co-founder Chad Moldenhauer. “When it came time to peel back the curtain and share a little bit about what we’ve been up to, we couldn’t imagine a more fun way to do so than with today’s Special Bulletin. The studio is working on this new Cuphead with help from Toronto’s Stop Motion Department and Continue Agency. At the same time, Studio MDHR also revealed that another part of the team has been working on a different Cuphead installment. Dubbed the Mighty Cuphead Adventure, this is taking a different art direction to the original. "In true Studio MDHR fashion, this game goes beyond just taking inspiration from the classics of the 1980s… it is actually built with technology of the era," the studio explained. "That's right: Mighty Cuphead Adventure is programmed in assembly language and designed with the exacting specifications of the Sega Master System home gaming console in mind." Aside from releasing on PC and modern consoles, Mighty Cuphead Adventure will even be playable on the 1985-released Sega Master System. A release date has not been announced just yet.
    • Any decent ITSM will A) have a web form that allows a user to raise a ticket, if you're writing an email you can write a ticket. B) Monitor a mailbox and auto-generate tickets based on inbound mails for those users that really can't get their heads around the concept that if you have an issue you go to support.mycompany.com and fill in the box. From your description you're having users email the desk, and then having a human read each one and manually raise a ticket on behalf of the user.

    • Fixing things? Have you ever tried linux? Everything works out of the box nowadays in most common hardware. This includes Wifi and Bluetooth. If anything, if they return back to windows is because they haven't found an equivalent program which often used on windows.
